it's always something right?!

I lasted posted about ear infections coming one after another. Well, all fluid has finally drained from his ear...yippee! Now, he has an abscess on the back of his left leg...wtf?! He's on an oral antibiotic for that and an antibiotic topical cream. It popped on it's own yesterday, took him into the Dr. Immediately following. Now its covered in gauze, bactine and ointment. They said it could happen to anyone at anytime. ..ugh! Any experience out there with this? How long to fully heal? Does it keep coming back? How long should I continue to cover it with gauze? I've never had one to deal with myself so any insight or info would greatly help. I'm ready to pull my snicklefritzin hair out with all the things that seem to come one after another. Its always something, but that's parenthood right? TIA.
