Before I got pregnant I wore a fitbit every day. The goal was 10,000 steps, which, when you work in an office is surprisingly hard to get. If I don't do any outside exercise (ie walking or jogging) I get about 6-7,000. I plan to put that puppy back on post partum as soon as the doctor gives me the ok
My step counter says around an average of 12-13000 per day during the week (kindergarten teachers move around A LOT) but on the weekends, I'm struggling to push 8-9000! But walking my dogs alone is 3-4000! I LOVE step counting! It's so fun!
*Jumps around ridiculously - then checks step counter to see how many calories jumping burned*
I also have a fitbit. It's on at all times! My goal before BFP was 12K/day which is roughly 5-6miles and I rarely went to bed without finishing my steps. I used my fitbit and lost 17lbs before getting my BFP. So now, even at 27 weeks I am still slightly (a tiny tiny bit) below my heaviest 2012 weight! Now my goal is 10K/day or an average of 70K steps over 7 days. So today I'll be short because it's 6:30ish pm and i"m still at work and have dinner plans. But tomorrow I'll make up for it. I my fitbit!!!!
I lost over 40 pounds pre BFP with my fitbit and MyFitnessPal. Worth every penny, I definitely plan on using them again post baby!!
