Madeline's popularity?

Do you think this name has died down some in popularity?  I know Madison hasn't or the nn Maddy/Maddie, but I really like this name.  I'd call her Madeline though and try to have everyone do the same for as long as I possibly can.  Am I setting her up to be one of many in her class?  

All of the the ones I know are five and older....TIA!

I'm also curious as DH's LOVES this name.  Although, we prefer the Madeleine spelling.

DD is Madeleine and we haven't run in to any others around her age (she'll be 2 in January), but I think if you combine all the spellings it was like #13 last year.

Theres 2 in her storytime, out of 10 kids, and they are both under 1. I think its still popular.

According to name nerds (all spellings combined) it ranked in at #14 last year. Still very popular. That being said, you just never know, there were only two Caras in my entire school but we were in the same class and I had to go by my last initial, we had zero Jennifers.

It hasn't made it in the top #50 on the SSA list in the last ten years. I don't know any Madelines but that doesn't mean anything since it could be a regional thing. 

I say if you love it, go for it! You could call her Mae!

According to SSA-- Madeline has declined in popularity over the past 15 years.

But there's also Madelyn, Madeleine, Maddelin, Madelinne and a million other spelling variations.

My DD is Madelyn (she's 1.5 yrs old) and I dont know any other Madelyn's yet. I know that once she's in school we might run into it, but I dont see it being an issue. In my opinion if you really love and connect with a name who cares if its popular!? I know 4 Lindsay's within my circle of friends in the same generation, and none of them seem too fussed about having to be called Lindsay K or Lindsay S.

If you love it go for it! OH and I am only now starting to call her Maddie, only as I am trying to get her to say her name and Maddie is easier than Madelyn Everyone else calls her Madelyn too.

I know 3 elementary school aged madeleines. Though ds says he doesn't know any at his school.

Off the top of my head, I can think of three Madelines (two with that spelling, one with a more unique spelling) between the ages of zero and nine.  I think it's still popular, but it doesn't bother me as much as popular names that aren't such classics.
