Teething

My daughter has never been the hands in the mouth type of child but lately her hands have found a permanent spot in her mouth....yuck! It occurred to me that she is probably teething and sure enough her second set of molars are trying to come in. Is anyone else dealing with a teething toddler? Has anyone's LO gotten their second set of molars yet?

We are right in the midst of it, and my DD is doing EXACTLY what you  have described.  Hand in mouth almost all the time, and there really hasn't been much we can do to stop it.  We try to keep her hands as clean as we can, and we've been giving her advil when she seems uncomfortable.  Teething is just BRUTAL!!  It's something so natural!  Why does it have to be so painful for the LOs?!

Daisy loves to chop on ice. I tie a cube up in a washcloth an he goes to town! She'll use frozen teething rings every once in a while

He hasn't had a hard time with his teething in almost a year. Last December was awful, awful, awful! These molars are bad, too. I picked him up the other night when he woke up in pain and I realized I hadn't had to do that in a very long time. I had a flash back to last December and I could remember exactly what it felt like to be rocking my little baby boy at night. 21 month old Cody feels a lot different in my arms than that baby.

This made me tear up!!!  I absolutely love cuddling with a 21 month old DD, but it does make me miss my little baby!!!
