Talk some sense into me. (Carseat/Stroller Related)

I know, I know as if there aren't enough of these posts...................... But those posts are what sparked the internal debate I've been having.

Last week I was able to Chicco Keyfit from Target for 130.00 & some change. Great deal right? And thanks to the lovely Bump I decided I just had to have a City Mini Stroller.

Of course my debate prior to Cyber Monday was buying a City Mini for almost 250.00.

Well DH & I went to BRU and found the Graco Francesca which DH fell in love with. Which I could go with & since BRU takes competitors coupons I could use the Buy Buy Baby 20% off coupon for it. IF I returned the Chicco to Target that would leave me OOP 180.00 for the unit. Total with an extra base 250.00 max.

Or I could keep the Chicco, buy the City Mini off Amazon and by the time I buy the extra base (for DH's truck) and the adapter bar for the stroller I'm looking at almost 480.00. 

So almost 230.00 difference. Why should I be sold on the City Mini/Chicco Keyfit 30 combo?

I've read reviews and both are great, which is why I'm having such a hard time with this.

Haha, so am I. I re-read it three times and I'm still not getting what you're trying to do here...here's my best guess:

-returning the stroller to target
-buying the one from BRU that you linked
-buying the city mini either way

I have a keyfit 30 and a city mini.. love both! Wouldn't want any other way. Will get a double city mini this time to fit my toddler and baby. I would stick with the Keyfit and City Mini after reading the ratings for both.

I like saving the $230... however returning stuff is a hassle - so it totally depends on what mood I'm in as to whether its worth the $230 to return it and deal with the crazies.

) Sorry y'all. I tend to give a little too much information than is really necessary.

I guess I was looking for someone to tell me "I don't need the high dollar fancy smancy stuff" and that Graco will work just fine just like it did the 1st time around.

I'm all for saving money. So I'd return and get what DH wants. But then again, I got a Graco stroller/car seat that I think is pretty awesome so far (not that we've used it yet)

If the chicco is gender neautral you should keep it, you can use it again if having more babies. I had a Graco travel system but if I could have afforded the City mini I would have went with that.

I cannot even fathom spending over $400 on a stroller/carseat. We got our stroller (Jeep Liberty) as a gift, but it would've been about 150 and our carseat (with an extra base) for 60. Save your money for diapers!

I guess I'm a bit of a stroller snob but I would totally go for the chicco and city mini. DH talked me out of the city mini with DD#1 and we got something else and I always hated it. Plus, I ended up buying the city select anyway.
