Cool mist.

I prefer the ones that are filter-less, but mostly because I'm too lazy to remember when I need to change the filter.

We have a crane one and you just have to be sure to clean it weekly and empty it daily.  I can't figure out how the basin is truly cleaned/disinfected though, as it doesn't appear to come off.  Last night I swished the vinegar/water solution inside.  Any other cleaning tricks?  The inside still smelled a little off, and it's brand new, only used like 4 times so far.

I know we are in the minority here, but we use warm mist.  We tried a few different when my oldest was a baby and the warm mist worked the best for us.
