First IUI ever

I am just wanting to see the success stories of others that had IUI's. How many times did it take to get pregnant? Is there anything I should expect? How typical is it to get pregnant the first time around?

My little story:
I have PCOS, AF started CD-1 11/29, had u/s on 11/30 CD-2, no cysts. Clomid CD3-CD7, Bravelle 150ui injection on Saturday the 7th-CD9, u/s Monday the 9th in the AM, depending on u/s, IUI on the 11th or 12th CD 13 or CD 14. They haven't told me when I'm to take the Ovidrel and Progesterone yet, I imagine they will tell me when I go in on Saturday or Monday.

Mar '14- M/C @ 8w2d when I should've been 9 weeks. D & C 3/7/14

    I got pg on my first IUI but mc. My 3rd IUI was my take home baby. Details in siggy, but I have PCOS and used femara and ovidrel. They should give you instructions, but ovidrel will be 24-48 hours before IUI. Success rates vary by practice, but I would assume you have the same chances as a "normal" couple. So 1/4 shot.
    TTC with PCOS since November 2009
    IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    My first IUI was the winner. Good luck!
    Me: 30, Dx Unexplained/hypothalamic amenorrhea
    DH: 31, normal!
    April/May 2011: Menopur + Ovidrel +TI = BFN
    Oct 2011: Menopur + Hcg +IUI = BFP!
    Beta #1 (13dpiui)= 129.7, Beta #2 (15 dpiui)= 305

    No advice but good luck! 
    dx: MFI 0% morph & low count. Occasional Anovulatory cycles.

    My 3rd IUI with injects worked. I have PCOS also. Good luck!

    Good luck! My 2nd IUI worked but was a m/c then I had a surprise BFP the month after when we took a break due to m/c.
    TTC since August 2009
    Clomid for 6 cycles starting August 2010- O but no BFP
    SA Septemeber 2010 Looking good 
    HSG September 2010 All clear 
    1st RE visit May 2011 - IUI#1 June 20, 2011: BFN

    I have pcos and am insulin resistant. Clomid never worked for me so did stims and iui with trigger shit, estrCe and progesterone and got pregnant both times with my first iui. Good luck!

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP
