I am fianlly home after 3 months.  DH told me he "cleaned."  The house is a wreck. And I knew it would be, it's just so disappointing.  He did nothing while DD and I were gone.  I just wiped 3 months of pee off the bathroom floor, the house hasn't been vaccuumed since I left (and we have 2 long haired cats!) and he was supposed to baby-proof, but there's shit everywhere. everywhere.  It makes me not even happy to be home, I just want to sit here and cry and DH doesn't even understand why I'm mad.  I just want to scream "grow up!" at him.  Ugh.

    And I just looked outside and there are rugs hanging on the clothesline that I put there 3 months ago before I left! I CAN'T EVEN I AM JUST SO FURIOUS.

    Damn, I would be pissed as well! I hope that your husband will help you clean up and baby proof, tell him how mad you are about it.  I finally had to do that with my husband, I had to tell him what I wanted done and he had no idea, he thought he was helping when he was actually not.  Good luck!

    Maybe leaving a very specific list will help? I know my husbands idea of " done" and mine are 2 very different things. A list helps for me.
    But yeah, I'd be pissed. And telling him X,Y, and Z need to get done like now.

    He is outside hanging Christmas lights while DD is napping.  I'm slowly getting things put back together inside.

    Mrs.G - My mom has been very sick, DD and I spent 3 months with her while she had surgery and then she had a rough recovery.  I was only supposed to be gone about 6 weeks.

    @RVASC811 He was working, but in spare time I'm sure all he did was hang out with friends, play video games and watch TV. He doesn't cook either so all he ate was crap frozen foods and takeout.
