Diaper help? Between sizes

We are exploding out of newborn diapers, but the size 1's are ridiculously large. Last time I tried moving up to size 1, LO peed right out the leg hole because it's so loose. Any tips? I have it folded down in the front, but that doesn't make the legs fit better. LO is long and skinny. There should be a damn size in between these two.

The only thing I can sugguest is velcroing the tabs lower to make leg holes a little smaller. Hope it helps...

I agree. I bought target brand newborns and they seem way smaller than pampers newborns. Hug goes smugglers seem to have more elastic so they might stay put better.

I'm a Pampers brand user but I have the same issue now on the size, so I tried the Huggies I got from my shower and they fit better on her legs. I'm using those for now.

This is the way disposables are. It sounds like you have an explosive pooper.

Try angling the tabs down to get a tighter fit in the legs.

And try a different brand.

Double up. Put a NB diaper on, then a size 1.

Nothing works to contain my LOs pee ! I think I may try doubling up

Huh.  We've found the opposite - Maggie's grown out of the Pampers Swaddlers NB size but still fits the Target NB.  But the Target size 1 are WAY too big for her still.

We HATED Huggie Little Snugglers NB - she blew out every one she had on
til we quit using them and went back to either of the others. 


This has been our experience exactly. The Huggies were gaping on his legs, they held nothing in! Target will work, but Pampers have been best for us. So funny how they all fit differently on different babies! OP, I definitely recommend trying a different brand (or two).

I noticed the sizing diff between pampers and Huggies too. The Huggies size one are closer to pampers NB. And pampers size 1 seem huge compared to Huggies size 1. Lol. So I agree with trying different brands
