PURPLE!!!  Did an elective ultrasound a couple of days before Thanksgiving at 16 weeks, and saw one beautiful girl and one beautiful boy.  Perfect.  My stepdaughter just hugged me and cried for several minutes when she found out, and my momma laughed and cried, too.  Happy Thanksgiving around here.  
I'm now 17 weeks, just waiting for the middle of the week when I can say I'm halfway to term to twins.  :)  

On another note, my mother-in-law, who is not spiteful but COMPLETELY ditzy, made me cry.  I was telling her about the cutest little outfits that I picked up at Black Friday, and she proceeded to tell me that I really should wait to spend any money on the babies, because what if I had a miscarriage?  OMG!!!  I politely told her that was a horrible thing to say and then me and my husband went shopping and he bought me a nice, big, beautiful diamond wedding set to upgrade the one he gave me 6 years ago.  It was a bit of a distraction - but I'm really not usually that spoiled, I PROMISE.  It was on our shopping list, anyway.  ;)

Okay, sorry for the novel - but I can't post that crap on FB, ya know?  So thankful to have you sweet ladies to share this journey with.

    First- congrats on team purple! That is perfect and I am so very happy for you!
    Second- OMG, what is wrong with your MIL?!?! You have been through enough without hearing those comments. I am glad you got spoiled after that :)

    *****Siggy/Ticker Warning*****

     Me (34)- no issues found MH (36)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist. 9R, 7M, 5F = BFN c/p,  New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS  4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice. CCRM-here we come! ODWU-All test results normal. EPP in August. 21R, 20M, 19F. 12 blasts biopsied & frozen for CCS testing. Results showed 11 normal! FET Oct. 30. 2 5d 4AA blasts transferred. First ever BFP!!! Beta 1=216, Beta 2=870 1st U/S=It's TWINS!!! It's a BOY and a GIRL!! Everyone Welcome!!!

    Congrats. Thrilled for ya. And who doesnt love a nice upgrade. Not everyone understands the true difficulty of IF, before, during, or after ya know. Hate those sort of comments. As if we dont beat ourselves up with those thoughts enough.

    TTC Since 112010 Naturally. Diagnose:PCOS(ME) + Low Motility(HIM). Started IVF+ICSI Cycle 12312. ER 27 & ET 210 two embies transferred. *BFN 1ST IVF CYCLE.* **Getting as healthy as possible and will try IVFICSI#2 again hopefully in April.** -- HAVE FAITH; LET GO & LET GOD --

    Congrats on having one of each!  That was my dream for many years.  And that was a horrible comment from your MIL!  Ugh, I hope she at least felt badly afterwards!

    Me: 42. DH: 46.

    1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.

    2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.

    3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.

    4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.

    5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.

    Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN.  After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.

    August 16, 2013:  BFP our first month of "not trying!"  Still in shock.  Beta #1 (14dpo): 183.  Beta #2 (17dpo):  611.  Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm! 
    Ultrasound 9/13/13:  8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
    Baby is due 4/26/14

    That is wonderful!! Sorry about your MIL though, but it sounds like hubby was able to cheer ya up! Congrats on team purple!!

    BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    Thanks, Ladies.  We are so excited, and my DH does know how to cheer me up.  :)  I don't care what she says, I ordered cribs and crib sets this week.  What she doesn't know is that I was buying baby and maternity clothes before I was even pregnant.  :P

    @tryingyetagain - the odd thing is, she's so ditzy, I really don't think she did feel bad.  She had no idea it bothered me so much.  She's a very sweet person, she's just not the sharpest tool in the shed.
