Lactating at 20 weeks?

Is that even possible? I sqeezed my nipple, because I'm weird, and clear stuff came out. I have breast implants, and realized my boobs have gone up a cup size in a months time, so I was just curious to see if anything would come out AND IT DID lol I feel like it's too early though?

I am 23 weeks and tonight as I was getting into pjs I noticed two small stain like areas in my bra.. I was wondering the same thing! I squeezed but didn't really see anything coming out... I go to my dr next week so I'm going to bring it up then

Mine started doing this around 17 weeks. I was told it was the colostrum coming in.

Yeah I think is colostrum because it's clear. I just find it SO weird because I've never had this happen with my first, and 20 weeks seems awfully early. @SLSchuerg

Yeah mine have been leaking since about 16 weeks.. Off and on, mostly at night

Mine started doing this at about 26 weeks with DS. It hasn't happened yet but that's exactly what colostral looks like when it comes out. It might be a good idea to go ahead and get some washable breast pads. This maybe TMI but if you're like me and you like to sleep topless you might find your nipples sticking to the sheets if they lactate and dry in the middle the night... Which is unpleasant.

My doctor said was starts to happen to just avoid nipple stimulation (clothes, sex, even the shower).

Yes! The crusties are the worst! It's because what your making in colostrum and it's stickier than milk! I can say once my milk came in that stopped.
It's the worst when your nipples stick to your bra too! Just another fun perk of pregnancy! Lol but hey, it's actually a good thing! Your girls are getting ready to feed your baby (whether you choose to or not they still get ready!)

Mine started about 16w too! I notice some staining on the inside of my bras (and some crusting like pinecony mentioned! Even though I agree there isn't really a not disgusting way to say that!)

Pregnant boobs are weird! lol

So this might be way too TMI... but after reading this, I tried squeezing my boobs and clear stuff came out of both! What a surprise!!!

Mine too! and seriously itchy! since about 18 weeks

I've been able to squeeze colostrum out since week 12, and at 20 weeks they started getting "dewy" on their own. Now, they are full-on leaking many times a day. When I was pregnant with Skippy, I started leaking at 34 weeks, and I hyperlactated when I was breastfeeding him - I literally produced enough milk to feed 3 babies every 4 hours. I'm thinking I'll lactate enough to be able to feed this baby and pump to donate to the hospital this time. TMI side note: my husband gets really turned on when my nipples leak.

I just checked too.. And same thing! So weird!! I had no idea it happened before birth

I woke my husband up the other day at 4;30am because I woke up to find a wet spot on my pyjama shirt! He wasn't that enthused, lol. I was really excited though!

If I wasn't at work I would totally be squeezing my nipples right now. I didn't know this could happen so early!
