Love little Q to death but damn.  Since the day he was born, this kid can tell if you try to sit down while comforting him.  He only accepts being bounced/rocked/soothed while you are in an upright position.  He's been majorly clingy today so I've been on my feet pretty much since 7am.

Without fail mine will wake up and be ready to eat the second the thought of me even wanting to eat pops in my head. Most days I'm lucky to get more than one meal. Been like that since day one. I have perfected the eat with one hand with my head tipped back to keep little hands from playing defense as I try to get food to my mouth.

Same here. Sitting and bouncing on an exercise ball works sometimes though. I put the boppy underneath him and bounce away.

Ds1 was like that and now at almost 3 years old he is very sassy and demanding. My mom says he is just "assertive and self confident". Ds2 is very laid back and it is such a change.

Like @ilovemarfa...My grandma pointed out that Ty is a happier baby than Bradley was. Not that Bradley was UNhappy, just that he was always a serious kid, and is a very sensitive toddler

This is exactly us!  He's fine if he's being held but God forbid you even shift in a direction that makes him think you're THINKING of putting him down and he loses his shit.  FML

Definitely yes. She is a great napper at daycare but when she's home with me, not so much. I know she's tired but she will.not.nap. She took a two hour nap this morning but that is the only legit nap she's had in 4 days.

I don't know how I'm going to survive Christmas break.

E has sentenced me to nap jail. I can no longer even THINK of moving her farther than an inch from my boob when she naps or the eyelids snap open. Today it took me two hours to finally get her to accept that she had to nap in her swing today. I picked up/put down like 100 times til she was too tired to fight it anymore. Of course she only slept 30 minutes, so not the best return for my investment.

Same for Ds1 here. Unfortunately DS2 is turning out to be a pain in the ass too. They are so damn cute though...

B wakes up in the middle of the night as soon as I start pumping. He sleeps in a room down the hall so it's not like he can hear it, but he always manages to wake up somewhere between one minute and five minutes into pumping. So I have to stop, unhook myself, take care of him, and then go back to pumping.

My son is an AW, even if I think he is happily occupying himself in his jumparoo he will start fussing the second I am out of his line of sight. He wants to see me and more importantly it seems he wants me to see him. We've started riding in the car with one of us in the backseat to keep him entertained.

Dude.  Make your husband do that!  He can't pump so he's on soothing duty while you make the food.  Fair is fair

We are in the middle of a road trip and were stuck in a traffic jam and she screamed and screamed until we got to the next exit that had a hotel. She was all smiled and giggles as soon as the bill was signed.

@elmoali I would, but he doesn't wake up very well. (I pump between 2-4am depending on when I go to bed.) When we first brought B home, MH got up and changed his diaper at every feeding and then handed him over to me. That lasted about two weeks before MH hit the sleep deprivation stage and hilarity ensued - sleep talking and walking and a lot of confusion. Now I handle all MoTN situations, and MH gets up with B in the morning so I can get a few more hours of sleep.
