consistent spotting in week 6??

I have had some light red spotting when I wipe now for the past few days.  I keep hearing that it can be normal but I can help but worry that it is happening every time I use the bathroom.  I am having some very mild cramping which has also been pretty consistent throughout the entire beginning of my pregnancy.  Both of these issues I do not remember having with either of my first two children who are now 16 and 13.  I know that I'm "older" now but I guess I am looking for some peace of mind through this.  I did go into the doctor the second day of the spotting which at that time was only on and off. Everything looked ok according to the doctor and baby's heart beat was strong.  I am starting to worry more now that it has been five days of spotting and more consistent when I use the bathroom. Advise????

I would call the doctor since your bleeding and cramping has become more consistent. FX baby is ok!

I would call your doctor because it's red. Pink and brown are usually less serious than red, but I would say any spotting could be serious. Red combined with cramping is something to get checked out.

I had brown spotting all week 6 and my doctor had me go to the ER. Baby was ok and we saw a heart beat.

I would go get checked out again. My last mc started w brown spotting, then pink, then red, and only when I wiped. FX everything is just fine but I'd want to make sure!
