trouble sleeping

for the past couple of weeks my life style has change, OB info me due to my GM not allowing me to cut hours or put feet up at work I am not to be working now, I am on full restrictions (work for a fast food company and I am Asst. Mgr.) Now I get things done home during the day but can't fall asleep at night. I don't know if it is because I don't have to get up as early or what but can not sleep at all. any suggestions?

I never sleep well from third trimester on sadly. It's just a normal side effect of pregnancy.

I don't sleep well to begin with so my dr recommended a sleep aid which I've been taking from day one but since being in my third trimester, that is no longer working. My only saving grace is I have only 6 more weeks, hang in there.

Make sure your room is cool, if it is too hot you will not sleep well

My doctor gave me a natural supplement called Phytisone by Thorne. No idea why it works, but it does. I take it 3x a day. She also had me add a higher quality prenatal and take add'l iron. Since I did that, I sleep GREAT.

I hear ya! For the past month I wake up every morning at 4:30 am and I just can't get back to sleep for hours. If I'm not working I usually take a nap in the afternoon :/ I've learned to just go with it because it has happened everyday now for at least a month. Hoping when I go to my next appt I'll see if my doctor can suggest anything

Unisom. It's the only thing that works for me. If you aren't used to taking anything, you can take half of one and it works great. Otherwise, a full pill is fine to take. My OB recommended it during first tri and it saved my sleep.
