Can I just ______ already?!: Know whether I've O'd

Signs/Symptoms: +OPK on CD 11 followed by 2 days of lower temps and a lackluster temp rise today.

Explain your Crazy here: I never should have started temping again this cycle because it makes me crazy.  But now I feel like I can't stop because if I haven't O'd I want to know it, right?!

Signs/Symptoms: zip. Last week I was having some pms symptoms but now nothing.

Explain your Crazy here : in reality I know this is normal and it can take a while to get AF but, my after my first miscarriage my body went right back to its normal cycle. This time, I guess it's gonna change. Damn.

CD/DPO: 25/9ish - I don't necessarily believe FF CH.

Can I just ______ already?!: resist the urge to POAS

Signs/Symptoms: cramping - I've never got cramps before AF, but doesn't mean I couldn't. Been queasy and sustained/increase temp. Also have had a headache, but that's maybe my sinuses.

Explain your Crazy here: I'm resisting the urge to POAS - my goal is to wait till 12DPO. Good thing I'm visiting family, and didn't bring tests. Have a feeling I might cave on MOnday, if the symptoms keep up.

@ashtonblair123 have you tried acupuncture? I got my first AF 5 weeks after the d&c and 2 days after my first acupuncture appt!

I haven't but someone I know IRL has strongly suggested acupuncture. So I am considering it, but I have a slight phobia of needles so it kind of terrifies me.

I'll just have to try to get over the idea of it.

@ashtonblair123 if I was scared of needles it would freak me out too! I found a woman in my town who specializes in women's fertility. Who knows if it actually works, but I can tell you I leave feeling a lot better emotionally too.

I think it's worth a shot if I can get over the needles! It doesn't hurt to try!

Signs/Symptoms: Cramps, heavy flow, back pain and nausea (similar to morning sickness).

Explain your Crazy here. In addition to AF, I'm just physically and emotionally exhausted. The news about my mother's health struck me down. I'm still debating whether or I should temp or not. I feel like I already have so much anxiety....

I did the same thing in Sept and it drove me crazy. Are you still testing with OPKs to see if you get another surge?

I tested yesterday and it was negative...not yet today.  My current plan is to HIO tonight just in case, take an OPK at some point today, and see what my temps do tomorrow and Monday (and then HIO Monday depending on my temps).  So I am covering my bases, but I just hate not knowing how many DPO I am.   8-}

@ashtonblair123  I've done light therapy after 3 of my losses, and I don't know if it was just good timing or the relaxation, or if it actually works, but it feels so soothing, and I started within 2 days every time

CD/DPO: 12DPO

Can I just ___get af or +hpt __ already?!: **i really feel like it'll be af

Signs/Symptoms: fatigue, moody, crying, cramping. These are all pre-af symptoms for me too. BUT I have a triphasic chart pattern!?!?!? (No room/sleep/temp changes) *shrugs*

That is a beautiful temp rise! Make sure you are drinking plenty of water, that might help with the headache.

I agree with you about your CHs, they may be a day or two early. FX for you and good job holding off on POAS!

(((Hugs))) I'm sorry about your mom and I hope you can get some rest.

As far as charting, it lessens my anxiety because it lets me know when I O (we have some ED issues so we can't just EOD for a week) and it lets me know when to expect AF. I will admit to be totally obsessed with my chart when I first started but I also looked at it like a science experiment and gathering evidence for my doctor.

When in doubt HIO is usually a good plan

You may have a fall-back rise. I get those. I would see what your temps do for the next couple days. Actually, to be honest, I would put in fake high temps to see what FF did with those . . .

Here's my crazy. I'm a novice charter. I started charting in August. I got a BFP in early novemeber (my loss) and now I compare everything to the Sept chart... I think I have a slow rise bbt  ???

I don't have a pronounced O dip despite the fact I'm fairly certain my OPK was not a false LH surge (which I know can happen). Anyway - despite the wonky chart I'm hoping O is the real deal because if you can't tell we had some awesome timing.

I don't know how to link my chart in my siggy despite countless efforts so here is an ugly link:

I agree with @ninthgirl about continuing to test with OPKs - especially with a slow climb.  FF does better with more data. You might start charting your CM also. If you can remember how your CM changed around CD 19 and CD20 that might help pinpoint O.

For fun, you can look at the chart gallery on FF for "slow rise" charts

I would definitely watch your LP length over the next two cycles. 8 days is on the short side. If your next two charts show the same thing, I would contact your OB to let them know and see if they will do a 7dpo progesterone check on you. LP length usually stays the same but cycles can be really wonky after a loss so it's good to see what happens over the next couple cycles to see if this is normal for you or not.

Try to wait past Monday if you can, because I agree with you and think that may be earlier than what FF is saying.

I could just be that your body is gearing up to O but does not actually do it. It would just be interesting at this point to see if you get another +OPK before your temp actually goes up more.

Looking back on my other charting app before my first pregnancy in 2011, my average LP was 8 days through 5 cycles. Shortest was 6 days longest was 11 days. Based on that I guess it's normal for me, unless my temps were off and I O'd on different days then. I guess we'll see how this next cycle goes with me temping at a set time now. Thanks for your help with this.
