Hey ladies! I'm laid out on the couch bc my ovaries are pissed. I had ER this morning and was a bit upset with only 6 retrieved. We got more last time and had closer to 10 on US on Wednesday. I guess not all of the follicles had eggs. Anyways, we did ICSI and will have our fert. Report tomorrow. We are doing PGD and will receive those results Wednesday the morning of ET. I'm just praying we have some healthy embies that are disease free! Last time even though we had 10 retrieved only 3 did not have my disease which is x-linked. It's so hard to be positive and patient. Sometimes this whole stupid process seems like one bad dream. Ugh. I'm sorry to be such a downer, I hate feeling this way.  Hopefully acupuncture will help tomorrow.

Happy Holidays to all!! Today we found out that ER will be on Monday. I can't believe how fast things have been happening I just pray the 2WW goes by just as fast.

Update:  stopped BCP on tuesday, going in on monday for baseline then hopefully start meds finally!. also started to feel sick on wednesday and now have a full blown cold ( so irritated. gonna spend the weekend loading up on liquids and meds so im fine by monday. i wouldn't want to be sick when i start stims or worry that it will effect anything

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Today is day 6 of Gonal F and low dose HCG and I will be adding Ganirelix tonight. Monitoring this morning was not pleasant. My left ovary was "tucked away" which made measuring follicles less than enjoyable. Follicles were growing, I had a bunch of 11s and one 13. Thanksgiving round 2 tomorrow. Christmas tree on Sunday :-) QOTW: Ultimate comfort food: homemade tomato soup and grilled cheese

I'm no longer using DH's sperm. Now just waiting for AF to show up.. and because it's a natural cycle, this should be easy, peasy. Still looking at Xmas for the IUI to happen.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the other Winter Wishes!! AF should come any day now and then I will start my protocol for FET#2. Im at risk of cancellation again because of my lining but we are pushing right along.

QOTD: taco soup! Can of black beans, pinto beans, kidney beans, corn, large can of diced tomatoes, pour in a pot (don't drain cans), add a lb of cooked ground beef or turkey, packet of taco seasoning and ranch dressing seasoning. Cook on medium heat for 20 mins. Top with cheese and tortilla chips. Easy recipie and so good!!

Hello Wishers

I have five nights of stims behind me, and had my first follie scan this morning. Here's the nitty gritty for anyone who's interested:

Lining: 5.0
Left Follicles: 8, 9, 10, 9, 4
Right Follicles: 10, 9, 9, 9, 7
E2: 280 & LH: 1

Tomorrow night, I'm increasing my Follistim dose, keeping the same for Menopur and Tev Tropin, and adding a dose of Cetrotide. Then I'll go back for more monitoring on Sunday. 

QOTW: I have a few recipes for the crockpot that I love, love, love! Chili, Pasta Fagioli, Mediterranean Beef Soup, Pulled Pork... yummmmmm!

Hi ladies! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

AF came on Monday, had my CD3 lab work and ultrasound on Wednesday morning, and started low dose HCG and Gonal F today (a day earlier than originally expected). This is finally starting to feel real!

Please change my ER from Dec 11th to the 10th. Good luck to everyone!! Is anyone else on Instagram? I have a private ttc account @ttc_babyg if anyone wants to look me up.

I'm taking my last bcp tomorrow. I'm so ready to be off them. They make me cranky and I have no sex drive at all. Poor DH!
QOTD: I agree that Mac and cheese is a great comfort dish. I love the fantastic brand veggie chili too.

I took my last BCP on Tuesday, AF started Thursday, and I have my baseline and hopefully start stims TODAY. Can't believe this is finally happening!

Hey there ladies!

I hope that you had a great Thanksgiving
(If you celebrate Thanksgiving). I had peaceful day.

AFM: I received a call from my nurse. They are starting my Lupron on cd20. However, I will be on a long hold. My FET will happen on or about January 15th. Therefore, I will start my cycle in December, and transfer in January. The lab will be closed for two weeks in December. They clean the facility and can not do any thawing. This pushes me into January. I won't complain. I'm happy to be able to do my FET !

QOTD: I LOVE MAC AND CHEESE, AND CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS! I MADE BOTH FOR THANKSGIVING! LEFT OVERS! A LONG WITH MY PIES. YUMMY!

Started my meds last night. You should have seen DH and I watching the you tube videos over and over. I'm yelling, "Pause, Rewind, Play!" I used ice to numb and I have to say, I didn't feel a thing! Not nearly as bad as I built it up to be!

Hi all - we are out.

We made the decision to cancel today. The response to stims wasn't great and our RE is away for a week starting today so we had to make the call.

It was our choice - we would have retrieved about 5 follicles this cycle and that didn't feel good for us, considering we only have the resources for one cycle and are hoping to get some frozen from it.

So we pulled the plug now. And are starting again mid-month with another protocol.... BCP suppression with a Lupron overlap - we are probably l

Hey ladies! I go for what might be my last monitoring appointment tomorrow (Sunday). They're worried that my E2 will be over 5000 and we'll have to do a freeze all. I'm trying to not be disappointed.. I want what's best for any potential embryos, but it's so hard to think about the possible delay after waiting so long to get to this point.

I love crock pot meals.. and I could eat tacos or quesadillas any day of the week, every day of the week. Mmmm.. tacos... maybe that's what I'll have for lunch

I love anything in a crock pot.  My favorite is a chicken curry served with fresh french bread.  Instead of all potatoes, i used half sweet potoates and white potatoes. So delcious.

Little bit behind here. I am so sorry to hear that some of us have already been delayed. FX for those in January. 

I am on Day 6 of stimming today. I don't really feel anything yet. Is this normal? I have an U/S tomorrow. I can't believe that ER is going to be next week already.

The embryologist called and said he biopsied all 6 embryos and everything went smoothly. He said normally by day 3 he likes to see 8-10 cells in each one. We had 2 with 9 cells, 3 with 10 and 1 with 12. So, I guess that's good news.....? It's hard to be excited for anything I'm so nervous what the PGD results will show. I wish I could calm my nerves. I feel like barfing haha :-&

Well. CD 21 progesterone is 0.3. AMH is 0.31. Waiting for AF to have CD 3 labs, but this might change things dramatically. Plus my TSH went up even though we just adjusted my Synthroid.

I've spent a good chunk of today trying very hard not to cry. We thought we'd fixed the big problems just to find more potential ones.

QOTD: Pot roast with carrots and potatoes in the crock pot. I put my roast in with two cans of Coke, a packet of dry onion soup mix, and a packet of dry gravy mix. So tasty.

had my suppression check and Started Follistim last night, got a green light even though i had a small cyst on my left ovary, FX it doesnt get bigger.

 ...DH and i both feel like its not real yet, especially because of this lupron trigger protocol, DH said, shouldnt you be taking something else? when will u use all those meds in the box lol.

Hey ladies, good luck this month! I was on this list because I was still delayed when the group formed and I wasn't sure if I'd still be a Harvest Hopeful. I had ER on 11/26 and had ET on 12/1. I straddled the line like I thought I might. You can either remove me altogether or put me in the ET list. I had good E2 and progesterone levels today. My beta is 12/10.
