Winter mittens and socks/shoe recommendations?

Does anyone have any they really like, that keep LO warm and dry in cold weather and stay on? I bought some baby ugg-style boots and they keep falling off or are hard to jam onto her little feet without me worrying about hurting her. Also I'd like to get some mittens that she wont rip off and are safe for her to suck on (she puts EVERYTHING in her mouth).

Roobeez stays on my LO's feet and he's even wearing a size too big.  No mittens stay on well though! We have a snowsuit with mittens built in.

Speaking of REI we just got a Columbia fleece shell there that has both fold up sleeves and feet. I've never had luck with separate pieces.

I think the set I have is from JJ Cole? I got it from Buy Buy Baby. It has mittens, a hat, and booties that stay on well.

Padraig booties are really big here in Canada, they are wool with a leather sole.  I see so many babies/toddlers wearing them.  We just got a pair for our 2 yr old

I try to buy outfits that have built in feet for this reason.  My son is a sock hating ninja, no matter what kind of socks, no matter what I do to try to get them to stay on his feet, he rips them off and they go right into his mouth.

Thanks folks, I'll check these out. I ordered some snowstoppers mittens in extra small and they are way to big..
