Within five minutes of being there FIL had already commented on how nice my boobs looked today, with MIL and DH standing right there....
My brother ended up coming to my in-laws because our side of the family was having thanksgiving over an hour away (my parents and my in-laws live about five minutes away from each other) and my bro had to work so that wasn't going to happen. One of DH's cousins asked my brother if he was a cousin that he hadn't met before......
For the rest of the night they were referring to him as the long lost cousin.
My BIL texted both DH and I last night asking if he could get DS an Elf of the Shelf for Christmas. I said 1. If it's for Christmas, he doesn't need an EOTS, they come for the days before. 2. He's too young to really get it, and if BIL is going to spend his money, he might want to purpose it towards something DS might get a little use out of. It will be probably be 3 or 4 years before he really "gets" Christmas and an EOTS. And it is sort of something I want to get for him.
He then texts DH and says he has a girl EOTS, and "when we have a girl it will be perfect for her." Thanks for listening. Don't forget the gift receipt.
Dhs father gave me a really creepy hug before we left. Dhs response, once we are in the car.... You know he is saving that for the spank bank.
And on a different note. MIL never held DS.
When we walked into the ILs house last night, the first thing I smelled was cigarette smoke and I was instantly pissed off. My MIL and FIL quit smoking about 2 yrs ago but BIL and his gf smoke. And they smoke in the house. When I first saw BIL, I asked him to please not smoke in the house with the baby. He immediately flipped me the bird like (2" from my face) and walked away. I was literally ready to just walk back out the door and leave. He's 27 yo and has absolutely no respect for anyone. He's one of the biggest assholes I know.

Yep, pretty much. To be entirely fair, DH and I weren't together at the time, this happened after we had split up a few years ago. (Dh and I dated for four years, broke up, then got back together six years later.). Now I've always known my file has liked me a bit TOO much, it's one of the main reasons why I never ever go over to see him alone.

ah nonononono! that's awful! I want to cry for you. I may have an emotionally void FIL but at least he doesn't try to feel anyone up!
