U/S today - a little shocked

I had my U/S today to check and see if the 2nd round of Femara worked any better.  On 11/19, I had gone to an U/S and all my follies had stopped growing.  Instead of waiting for A/F and next cycle, they just had me start Femara again right away.  Honestly, I hadn't felt a darn thing this time.  When I left I even told my DH that I was ok knowing it probably wouldn't be good news today.  Well low and behold, I have a follie to trigger!

 

It measured 27mm!  I have never had a follicle that big before.  Also all the other follies that were between 9mm-13mm shrunk back down.  She said all she could see were about 10 follies under 8mm.  She even had to double check her notes a few times.  I never had this happen, but I will take it.    I called DH right away and of course I cried.  I was just so happy we got over a hurdle.  We grew a follie big enough.  I was told to go ahead and trigger tonight and start my progesterone supp. on Saturday.

 

No matter what happens, we took a step ahead.

Me: 35   DH:  29

TTC:  Since 10-31-2007

Dx:  Me: PCOS, an-ovulation    DH:  Nothing so far

2007-2011 - Tried Clomid, Ovidrel Trigger with TI -BFN

11/2013 - back to RE for new plan.

Cycle 1: Letrozole cd3-7; U/S cd12 (27mm left); ovidrel trigger; progesterone test and suppositories - BFN

HSG- 12/16/13 - clear and "Beautiful" per Dr. Attaran

Cycle 2- Letrozole cd3-7, ovidrel trigger, progesterone test and suppositories-BFN

BENCHED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

    DX: Me - DOR & tubal issues, DH: none. 
    June 2004: Ectopic pregnancy with DH while dating
    October & November 2013: IUI #1 & 2 - BFN
    December 2013:Taking a break, trying on our own.
    January 2014: BFP!!!! Ectopic pregnancy ruptured at 6wks1day. Left Fallopian tube removed. Noted during surgery the right Fallopian tube is severely damaged from 2004 ectopic pregnancy.
    April 8 2014: IVF#1 w/ISCI: 10 received, 5 mature, 3 fertilized. Day 3 transfer of all three embies.
    April 22, 2014: BFP! beta #1: 80 beta #2: 211 One nugget! 
    January 6, 2015: Adeline Marguerite is here!!

    Woohoo! Same thing happened to me with the first round of Femara. This cycle we tried 3 pills a day.. I go for my U/S tomorrow! Congrats!

    Yay! A step forward is fantastic! FX for you!
    Me: 33 - PCOS & Hypothyroidism DH: 35 - SA is good Married since 2010 (together since 2006) TTC since June 2009 (we knew we would have issues and wanted family right away after we got married). No pregnancies yet. May 2013 - started first round of Chlomid & ovidrel cycle.
