Love it, points, ect.....

It's been awhile since I've been on-a good year if not, two.  I have a few questions, if someone doesn't mind answering....

1.  What is the "Love It" button?  Is it a per post thing or is it a "love you (the point you made)" button that follows every post....I wouldn't put anything past TB.

2.  Points?  Being Graded now-good times.  How does this work?

I see lots of oldies but, goodies.....
