in TTC after 35
I have read some posts on here and it appears to be a very supportive board. I just want to be clear. Is it just for those that are TTC without any children or can you be part of this if you have one or more and are trying again after 35? I don't want to intermingle if its not the right place. TIA

    I have been welcomed and I have 1 ds but I had him at 39:) so I think it's for any ttc after 35...I'm sure I will be corrected if wrong;) welcome and hope your stay is short:)

    Thanks. I had my DS at 36 and almost 39 that's why I felt like this might be a good place.

    It's a great board. There is a mix of women who are TTC#1 as well as #2+. Some of us are are undergoing treatments, while others are not. It is supportive and relatively drama-free. Welcome!

    Welcome!!  I was on the board while TTC #1 and am back while TTC#2.  It's a good board for support and information while remaining drama free and friendly.
    ~Married 11/08~
    ~TTC since 01/09~
    ~SA & B/W - 06/09 - Normal~
    ~Encouraged by OB to "just keep trying" 06/09 - 06/10 (oh, the wasted time)~
    ~HSG - 08/10 - Clear/Normal~
    ~Lapo - 01/11 - Normal~
    ~Clomid 50mg, Trigger shot, Prometrium - 01/11, 02/11, 03/11~
    ~BFN - 02/11~
    ~IUI #1 03/15/11~
    BFP 3/28/2011
    Diagnosed with GD at 28 weeks. Controlled through diet and exercise. No insulin.
    Diagnosed with Cholestasis of pregnancy @ 36 weeks.
    Delivered via C-section @ 36 weeks on 11/9/11.

    TTC#2 for a few months naturally (ha!)
    ~IUI#1, Clomid, Trigger,  10/13 - BFN
    ~IUI#2, Femera, Ovidrel, 11/13

    Yep it's definitely a mix of people here. We're TTC #3, but I've felt welcomed and supported by the ladies who are TTC#1 and facing various difficulties.

    Me:36 DH:38 TTC#1 since 4/2012
    Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR,  DH: normal

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    Quite a few women are ttc #2, 3 or 4 :) As the other ladies said we are pretty friendly group, the ticker warning is nice, but I if you need have question about your lo, this isn;t the board, but if you occassionally need ot vent that is fine, just a ticker warning.

     

    Welcome and I hope you don't have to stay on this board too long! wish you speedy bfp. :)

    My Ovulation Chart


    Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
    3 cycles clomid with Ob,
    1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
    Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
    clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
    1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
    2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
    3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

    May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

    May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

    February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

    SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!

    Miscarriage 4/23/15

    Welcome!

     I personally find it very welcoming here-I'm trying to ttc #6, after over 10 years since a live birth. And I'm 42-but nobody here thinks this is nuts, that's awesome : )
