Sorry to unload this on the boards but if anyone would understand....

So yesterday I received the call that the ultrasound results showed no signs of fetal life, and that I still have not passed the sac so to stop meds and I will have to have another ultrasound next week to see if I either MC on my own or if I need a D&C. Ok fine ensues a few tears. Then fine I go home have dinner and beer with it cause why not right??!!

Then today I get a call from the nurse I normally deal with. RE wants to see you your beta had gone to 4,000 (was 2,000 something). WTF???! So start meds until we see what is going on. I am SOOOO pissed. The only bright side is I am driving down to see him in person and not dealing with tech's at the radiology lab and no more questions.

But I am so upset. I drank a beer last night and had a big Starbucks this morning. UGH. Why oh why have I turned out to be one of the crazy drawn out situations.

Ok. So if you read all that. THANK YOU. and ummmm..... You deserve cupcakes or cookies.

Unbelievable!  Fingers crossed that they find out what is going on ASAP!!!  Did they rule out eptopic?

as for the beer & coffee ... I try to look at the silver lining, it wasn't crack or meth, right? ;-)  (hopefully that brings you a small smile)

@ladyrader0277 LOL!! This is true! Even my DH said I should have said "Thanks....guess that line of coke last night wasn't a good idea..." I think he is now in the WTF pissed party.

Thanks brook! I know it won't just pissed me off to get that call.

*hug* I AM SO SO SO sorry. I had a similar thing happen with my first pregnancy where these NURSES (not even doctors) told me I had an ectopic pregnancy when I didn't. An OB found the sac in my ute a few hours later I was so furious with those nurses (DH too) that I couldn't even look at them after that.

No one should have to go through this! You should be mad! I wouldn't worry at all about the beer and coffee, you will be totally fine. Big hugs!!!

Thanks Liz. Just sucks. Why do we have to go through SO MUCH along with just dealing with IF? Ugh.

We shouldn't! It's one thing to have to deal with our bodies and medicine, but its a WHOLE new level when pain is caused by another person! People can suck so bad!

Alcohol is really an issue with constant exposure, 1 beer won't hurt a baby - it's daily drinkers that cause problems. I can understand not being particularly hopeful - but I do hope you get some clarity from your RE. And, sorry you are having to be in eternal limbo!
