DH and I have always used Kraft, but I want to start making my own from scratch. It's really doesn't seem like that much more time to whip up a cheese sauce. The problem is, the random internet recipe I recently tried just didn't taste that great. Anyone have a good, easy recipe to share?
I melt four cups of my favorite cheese, add a couple sprinkles of mustard powder, 1/2-1 stick of butter and some heavy cream. I just melt it all down together. I also like to add garlic and sauteed onions. Takes like five minutes.
That sounds yummy, Mrs. C. Know what's funny? I don't have mustard powder in my spice collection. I've never cooked with it before. Perhaps I'll have to pick some up and give it a try.
