Hi Ladies! Happy holidays!
I am in my 18th week and feeling pretty crappy, to be honest! It started Sunday- I was grocery shipping and felt dizzy and faint. I started to panic and broke out in a sweat. I am assuming I was overheated? Has that happened to anyone else? I have been having bad headaches lately as well- I think it's my sinuses though. I fell bad complaining but it's been a rough week so far!
I haven't felt any flutters or movement yet. When did you feel it with your first? I worry about everything!

Qotw- I am going to my parents for Thanksgiving. My husband is a vegetarian so I make a veggie pot pie for him so that is kind of our tradition.

Hi everyone!
I am 25w2d today - can't believe I'm almost to third tri!  No recent appointments.  But I am feeling good and excited that I am finally starting to really show.  I had someone ask me when the baby was due for the first time the other day without anyone telling him I was pregnant, so clearly I'm showing :-)

My husband and I rotate whose parent's house we go to on Thanksgiving Day.  This year, it's my parents and I'm looking forward to our typical menu with several of my grandmothers' recipes.  I'm a vegetarian, but I love the sides!

@PhillyJ33 - I'm sorry you haven't been feeling great!  I felt flutters at 17-18 weeks, but everyone is different.  No need to worry yet.   I bet you start feeling them soon!  It's my favorite thing about pregnancy :-)

I am 25w3d and am still feeling good most of the time.  I have days where I get a full night of sleep yet feel exhausted the next day and other days I feel awake. Next appt is Dec 20 and I have my glucose screen, then I will start going every 2 weeks!

QOTW-Since I got married in May 2012 holidays have changed.  We now do Thanksgiving w/ my DH's family.  His mom is very old, in poor health, and fragile so we have to go to her, which is 3.5 hours away. I miss Thxgiving with my family, but we do Christmas there.

I'm 20w4d and feeling pretty good overall.  Still having a hard time eating and have lost a couple pounds since my 12wk appt, but my OB doesn't seem too worried since baby boy is growing right on track.  Had our 20wk a/s last week and everything looked perfect.  They couldn't see some of the smaller things so we go back at 24wks and get another u/s (which I'm not complaining about!).  I haven't felt LO yet which is making me sad, but I have an anterior placenta so at least I know why!

We go to my mother's house each year for Thanksgiving.  Nothing too crazy just a little get together.

I am 24w4d and have been feeling pretty good although sleeping has been getting less and less. I start my birthing classes next weekend it is a 7 week class.

QOTD: I usually spend thanksgiving with family but this year it's going to be just me and hubby which is perfectly fine with both of us.

16w2d today and feeling more pregnant every day. I cry at the drop of a hat and run into a she devil the next second LOL Nothing much else going on.... I've had a loss of appetite which is weird I'm going to ask my OB about that next week since I'm worried he's not getting what he needs. Oh, also this weekend DH said he'd "entertain" the idea of naming him my choice (John Patrick) win!!!! LOL

Thanksgiving is usually at the in laws since my family doesn't really do much and now my parents are in another state and have no plans to visit for holidays

@PhillyJ33 - sorry you're not feeling well.  I felt baby I think on Sunday at 20w6d, but nothing else. I also have anterior placenta so that is why.  Do you have an anterior placenta?  I also had an over-heating episode.  I was in a very posh mall, where people seriously dress up and I stripped down to an inappropriate camisole.  It was either that or throw up (or maybe die, it felt like).  It felt very weird to me, like I was panicking and then as soon as I started taking off clothes, I felt a million times better. 

I am 21w now and feeling okay.  Not great, but okay.  I still have the same damn headache that I’ve had for weeks, but whatever.

My Thanksgiving is over, but we celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving at my parents house and then made the three hour drive to my in-laws.  Not relaxing.  At all.

I will be 16 weeks on thanksgiving. So exciting! Nothing new going on. I felt this one super early, just before 15 weeks. I still REALLY hate food, and haven't gained any weight.
We alternate holidays. This year is thanksgiving with the in laws, traditional meal and Christmas presents, then we will do Christmas with my family (yay!)

@Beebee08 sorry you had that experience as well but I am glad I am not the only one! It was freezing outside and I was all bundled and suddenly it seemed that the store got crowded and I was thawed out and got too hot! I started stripping layers too and then stuck my head in the meat refrigerated section. That made me want to puke so I rushed to the bathroom and sat in the disgusting floor for a bit. What a day! I wet my face and that seemed to do the trick!
It was scary though and I think I made it worse by panicking. I am glad it didn't happen in a posh place

I am not sure about my placenta. My next u/a is in two weeks so hopefully I either feel the baby by then or get some answers.

I’m still dealing with morning sickness, but at the same time I’m finally getting some energy back so I can say that I’m enjoying this time the most so far. Baby kicks up a storm most of the evening and my husband will fall asleep with his hand on my stomach…makes me all weepy

QOTW: How do you celebrate Thanksgiving?  Since we don’t live close to any family and we are already traveling home for Christmas we usually just have Thanksgiving dinner with a group of our friends. We live in Vegas so at lot of our friends are originally from here either.

@phillyj I didnt feel movement with DS1 until 21 weeks. Like Beebee said I had an anterior placenta and I also do with this pregnancy. It will happen. . Also I would get overheated too with dizzy spells. Totally normal.

@maitaibeth hope you are able to get your mom in a good home. Sorry you are dealing with this. Also hope your kidneys are ok.

Im 19 1/2 weeks. Cant wait to be half baked. I see the dr this afternoon and Im hoping for an iron supp rec. constipation has been horrible too.

Thanksgiving is busy driving to everyones home. You cant beat the food though.

@phillyj33, sorry about that scary episode of not feeling well! It has happened to me before. Also, I think I just started feeling the baby. I'm still not sure. This upsets me because apparently you're supposed to feel it soon with a 2nd pregnancy. Anyways, try not to worry. Sometimes you won't feel baby for a while. (I keep trying to tell myself not to worry, too)

I'll be 18 weeks on Thursday, woo hoo! Next appointment is tomorrow. We are team green!

Thanksgiving is split between my family and my in laws. We all live within 40 minutes of each other. Mom always does Thanksgiving lunch (until around 4) and then we do something with my in laws. We used to do it at our house, but this year, my ILs are hosting, which will be a nice break. We'll do dinner there. DH doesn't have to work on Friday for the first time ever, so we'll be able to stay a little bit later I can't wait to EAT!!

Hi ladies!

16w4d today.  Quad screening came back normal.  Just chugging along waiting for my next OB appointment on dec 19.  My friends are doing a reveal for us on Sunday, so we'll find out the sex then! 

QOTW:  We go to my parents first and then to H's parents.  OMG there is going to be so much food!

15 weeks. OB appt is the 13th, A/S the 30th. We are going to ILs for Thanksgiving. They live 35 minutes away.

20w4d. No major updates this week. Were all okay, babies are right on track.

Qotw: I'm working 7a-7p on thanksgiving so dh is going by his parents.

20w4d. Feeling good but tired. Next u/s in a week. I'm anxious for kicks but none so far Just some rolls occasionally. Thanksgiving pt 1 with my family is Wed night. Part 2 is Thursday with the in laws followed by the weekend off for both of us

I'm 18 weeks and we just found out Friday at our a/s that we are team pink! So excited about having a baby girl! We also had an amnio and should get the results next week. MFM didn't see any issues and was optimistic about it. I also found out the baby has an anterior placenta, which is weird because I swear I've been feeling her for a couple of weeks. Maybe I've been oohing and aahing over gas all this time! MFM said we have to go back for another u/s with her at 32 weeks to check baby's size. Baby was already measuring a little large!

Just DH, DS, and I this Tgiving, which is fine with me. No driving or stress! And my parents will be here next week which I'm excited about!

We got our quad screen back this week and its all clear! I am so thrilled. My stomach is popping out a bit more each week. I love it!

For thanksgiving we are going to DH's family's beach home and staying until Sunday AM. Then we are going to get our tree. :-) excited for Christmas!

Hi ladies! I'm 20w5d and just had my A/S this morning. Baby is growing right on track and we found out it's a girl! We're so excited to finally know what's cooking in there. :-) Next OB appt is in 3 weeks. Everything is going smoothly. Haven't felt any kicks yet, but I've been feeling flutters this past week or two. QOTW: We alternate families on Thanksgiving. This year we are spending the day with DH's extended family in Delaware. It will be fun to show everyone my bump and tell them it's a girl!

@PhillyJ33 - I've had a few episodes like that as well. One was on the way to my OB appointment. My BP was on the low side. He told me to be careful getting up from lying down (sit for a minute), and to remember to keep my legs moving when standing in one spot to keep from fainting.

I am 23 weeks, only a few more days to V-day!! No updates this week, I go in next week to MFM and my OB.

My Thanksgiving is over (Canada) but we spent it with my in-laws, overeating for days :-)

16 weeks today! I made it Facebook official today, so it's been really fun reading all the comments. Not much going on except the new bras I bought a couple weeks ago no longer fit, so I need to go shopping!

We hosted thanksgiving this year, so my parents, my in-laws, and my brother are all staying at my house. It's a little crazy, but the food was good!

Hello all of you fine ladies! I am chugging along at 23w1d and feeling great! It's exciting to feel the baby move around, and today was the first day a stranger asked me when I was due! I'm glad I"m out of the "looking fat, not pregnant" phase! 

QOTW: I work in a hotel as a Food and Beverage Director. Needless to say, I am always working on Thanksgiving. I had work yesterday until about 6pm, and when I got home DH was cooking a mini Thanksgiving meal for the two (and a half) of us. He had celebrated earlier with his family, but wanted to make sure we had our own special night. All of us ladies have a lot to be thankful for this year, so I'm glad we got to celebrate it!

Hi Everyone!
I'm new and would love to be added.  I'm 14 weeks and 4 days today.  We still don't know what we are having, but we definitely want to know.  Our EDD is May 27th.

QOTW: My in laws go to North Carolina to visit my SIL, so we go with my mom's family for Thanksgiving.  DH had to work this year though (he works in a group home for boys, so they don't get holidays normally) so I went myself.

Hi, I am new to this board (didn't realize it was here til today...I was looking in the "Success after IF" board for a while and realized I was in the wrong place...The Bump is vast and a little disorienting).

I am expecting a girl after going through IVF this summer.  Due date is 4/6/13. 

How far along are you this week?  Any appointments or other updates? 

I'm 21w6d today.  No appointments next week.  Feeling pretty dang good (no back pain...yay).  Made it to aqua-robics class this morning, even!

QOTW: How do you celebrate Thanksgiving? 

Just the two of us (or three of us, I guess).  It was great!

Wow! I can't believe I'm graduating! I turned 27 weeks on Wednesday. Feeling pretty good overall. The baby is kicking more. Somehow I failed the 1 hour glucose screening so I freaked out and bought a glucose monitor. My fasting has been good at around 73 and I've gained a total of 8-9 pounds. who knows. I'm doing the 3 hour on monitor. On a more positive note, I had a 3d ultrasound and it was awesome!

Thanksgiving went well. I'm on call all week so the family came to me. The food was amazing!
