cosleeping on an air mattress

Hi Ladies,

So I know this is a big no-no.  We are having family over our house for Thanksgiving and are giving our bed for DH's pregnant sister (super pissed about this but it's a really long story and I don't really want to get into it).  Anyway, 20 month old DD is used to sleeping with us for part of the night.  

Since she's older, I was going back and forth about the air mattress and then I decided I don't really want to take that risk.  We have a foam mattress pad so I was thinking that would be ok instead of the air mattress.  What do you think?

I wouldn't worry about an air mattress with a 20 month old.

Thanks Ladies!  Now that I think about it, I remember my friend, her DH and her 2 year old slept on an air mattress once and said it was fine.  I'm still nervous about it though.  I think we'll just try the foam mattress pad on the floor.
