Meal Plan Monday

I know it's a short week for most of us on here, but we've still got to cook the rest of the days.  What's everyone got planned?

For fun - If you are celebrating Thanksgiving this week, what are you most looking forward to?

Monday - pizza (daycare fundraiser)

Tuesday - sloppy joes

Wednesday - leftovers

Thursday - Thanksgiving at my parents

Friday - Thanksgiving at the in-laws

Saturday - chicken pesto pasta (for SIL's birthday - didn't get to make it this week because of bad weather)

Sunday - something with Thanksgiving leftovers

I am most looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving on separate days and not having to cram in seeing both families on the same day.

It's cold here, so turkey chili tonight, followed by turkey chili dogs Tuesday (yea, leftovers!). Wednesday is antipasti platter night. Thursday is Thanksgiving, Friday is leftovers, and Saturday is likely to be "creative fun with leftovers and Mr. Google" day. Most looking forward to? Broccoli cheese casserole and stuffing. Basically all the sides. I could totally skip the turkey and just eat the sides, lol!

Mon- Turkey avocado burgers

Tues - Turkey gyros

Wed - BLT'S

Thurs - Thanksgiving Dinner

Fri - Leftover Thanksgiving Dinner!

Monday- Turkey burgers (way to start out the turkey crazed week!) with sweet potatoes in the oven

Tuesday- Pasta and meatballs (tukey meatballs, come to think of it)

Wednesday- Chicken fajitas

Thursday- A double feast of italian goodness (my sister makes homemade ravioli) + turkey feast

Friday- On the road to see DH's family. 6 hours so my SIL better have some good turkey sandwiches upon arrival!

Thursday - Thanksgiving

Friday - DH's last day of his job so we are celebrating at his favorite bar right when he gets off work - probably pizza or the brewery that are both close to bar.

I am looking forward to candied yams!  I found a recipe on Pinterest we are going to try.  That and stuffing is my favorite part of Thanksgiving.  My MIL is cooking and she puts the giblets in her stuffing (which totally grosses me out) so I insisted on making the yams.

Monday- leftover Roast Pork Loin, rice and peas

Tuesday- perhaps a pizza

Wednesday- traveling

Thurs-Sunday- Thanksgiving leftovers and whatever NY has to offer

I'm looking forward to ham and mac and cheese

Sat--takeout or eating out, likely on the road

Mon - made-ahead beef stew and cornbread
Tues - Tuna Nicoise salad w roasted potatoes and tomatoes
Wed - take out w extended family
Thurs - we're hosting dinner. I love gravy! And making/eating pies!
Fri - My sister is cooking (yay)
