PSA- an example of NOT a repeat post!

What do these ladies want us to post about if they don't want repeat posts (I mean we're all pregnant right) Well I've got one for you. Anyone else's toilet seats changing colors? I know this sounds messed up and like a lie but I promise it's true. I was cleaning today and notice my toilet seat was blue (only the part that is sat on)! I tried cleaning it off but I could not figure out why it was on there when I have been using all the same cleaning products. Well, come to find out, after Googling this question (why is my toilet seat turning blue) it is actually something that other pregnant women have tried to figure  out before. While it's not known exactly why it happens, it either has to do with hormones or PH levels. 

   Hey, I like Smurfs, it's totally fine if I'm having a little Smurfette. Anyone else experience this? ALSO, if you think this post is pretty crazy just keep in mind that NOBODY has posted about this yet so BAM I win

You know, I've totally been checking my toilet seat every time I go to the bathroom. Is it a soft seat or a hard one?

Soft but from what I've found online it is actually more common in hard seats.

I actually did notice this. But I just assume it is because my blue jeans are tighter and my body is hotter, creating a moisture dye on my bottom, which transfers to the toilet. I dunno…..

So weird. At our last townhouse that we moved out of in July, we had these weird blue spots that developed over a year. Never could figure out what caused it...

Mine has hair dye on it from a looking time ago. It is fading... slowly.

No thanks. Although mine is blue it is clean You don't worry about cleaning and just enjoy that sweet baby and getting rest when you can @aessary03 !

Ha! I just thought this was from our jeans/pants! Hmmm. Interesting, although it was more noticeable with our soft seat than with our hard seat.

My toilet seat is blue... But only because DD got hold of a blue pen yesterday!

Funny. We rented out house for two years when we went abroad and when we came back found one of the toilets was blue. This might explain why! Also the guest room next to that particular bathroom had a blue patch on The wall. I thought it was mold but maybe the bed was next to the wall- I don't know what is worse, mold or thinking the wall got peed on. :9

Mine's white (and sparkling!) and covered by a lovely purple cover.... Mainly to cover up where the lid melted when I set my straightener on it while it was still on. Oopsy daisy.

We got a new toilet seat cover (finally!) and I will be checking to see if turns color now..

It's the part you sit on that would change color, no the seat cover.

Always thought this was due to the dye from my jeans. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

@morenajuliet- Sorry for resurrecting such an old post but my toilet seat is turning blue!  If you hadn't posted this I would be going crazy trying to figure it out!!  I thought of you and excitedly yelled to DH to come look at what I've done to the toilet.  He's a brave man and came running in, no questions asked.
