classes for 12yr olds

hi new to the message board my first child is 12 and will be 13 when this baby arrives in march, does anyone knows an age apporaite sibling class for her. she really havent been by newborns alot and want her to have some idea about what is going on. we live in the op area and just wondering.

Have you checked with the hospital you are delivering at to see if they do a sibling class? I know many are geared toward younger kiddos, perhaps the hospital will do a tour of the birthing unit for the two of you... or you could look for a babysitting course or infant cpr if you are looking for baby care information. Check with your hospital, the Red Cross, or even local community centers for those types of classes.

Thank you and I have, here in a couple of weeks I am going to find out if she is able to go with us on the hospital tour and classes...it's depending on how the other parents will react and what not. I am still looking
