DH is an engineer and as such, he likes to have very organized systems in place for everything - he's very particular in the way he does a lot of household chores. So, we have two changing tables - one upstairs and one downstairs. I keep diapers, outfits, and bibs in each one. Today DH went to get a bib and there were none in the table. This is the conversation that followed:
DH: There are no more bibs
Me: They're probably dirty, there's more upstairs
DH: Well, what's our system for bibs
Me: uuuh, what?
DH: How many bibs do we have?
Me: I don't know.
DH: You don't know how many bibs we have? How can you not know how many bibs we have?
Me: uuuh - we have a lot
DH: Well - how many do we keep downstairs?
Me: I don't know
DH: Well - what is the proportion of bibs upstairs vs downstairs? 50-50? 60-40?
Oh my...seriously DH? What do you think goes on here all day? Do you really think I'm sitting around counting bibs? I laughed pretty hard at him for that one.
