Sweating Sleeper

I recently had a second csection with both c/s I would sweat during my sleep. However with the second c/s I wake up in cold sweats, dripping like I ran a marathon!! I think my body is getting rid if extra fluid but this is going on the second week. Anyone else sweating like a marathon runner in their sleep?

I believe this is pretty normal no matter how you give birth. It's the change in all the hormones

I'm 15 days pp and I get the same thing. It's brutal!

I had it with both and also horrible chills. The first was so bad DH thought I was having a seizure and ran to get the nurse! She had to cover me in warm blankets while it passed. It is from the hormone shifts and it's pretty awful!

I had this too. I would freeze when I went to bed, but I would wake up sweating like when a fever breaks. The chills were terrible. I have never had anything like that before. I called the doctor and he said that was completely normal. Like pp have said, it was because of the hormones

I had the same issue- I also have a thyroid issue that doesn't help the matter. I am ALWAYS hot. ugh I hate it!
