My friend just delivered her son. She was 29 weeks along but he was measuring 24. Born at 1 lb 15 oz. I don't know much more but prayers are appreciated. I feel horrible that she has to join us. :-(

Prayers! I agree that GA is most important, many times those IUGR little ones do even better because they had stress in utero. One of my twins measured about 2 weeks behind but acted more like his actual GA.
No update just yet. I know she started to go into hellp and they delivered by emergency c. I know how hard these first days are so I'm not going to bother her but I'll keep you updated!

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
update.... the little guy is doing awesome! He's already off clap and onto a nasal cannula! she got to do kangaroo for 50 minutes until his temps dropped but they both seem to be doing well. He is still losing weight (which we all know how scary that is when there isn't much to lose) but her milk is coming in so she's excited about that. She had some complications after her c-section (a lot of lost blood and some trapped air) but she is doing better. I've been offering her as much mental and emotional support as possible and linked to the preemie "what can i do for a friend? and what not to say" page and she was really grateful she said there have already been hurtful things and it was nice to "say it without saying it" ... I saw some pictures today and he looks amazing. such a fighter!
So happy to hear that. Please let her know she has mommies all over the place supporting her and understand exactly what she is going thru. Praying for her and her family.
