Trigger - OPK or HPT?

Hello,

 

I am probably going to trigger this week ((Fingers crossed)).  I guess I am a little confused.  Do I still do the OPK monitoring or will it come out positive due to the trigger?  Also, I have seen ladies say they are taking HPT to see if the trigger is out??  Can Ovidrel cause both OPK and HPT to be positive?

I wouldn't continue doing OPK's after triggering because the test strip will pick up the HCG and turn positive. You won't know if you're still having a LH surge or if it's only from the trigger, so you'll just be wasting a test. Some women test out the trigger with pregnancy tests, but I wouldn't really recommend testing it out with an OPK.
