Cough

So LO is soon to be 4 months and has been coughing when I pick him up lately. It's not wet or anything, it's a dry little cough. It kind of sounds like a fake cough, I know babies learn to cough and will fake cough sometimes so I'm wondering what guidelines you got on coughing?
Again, it's not wet, nothing's coming up, it's not accompanied with a fever, runny or stuffy nose.

My LO does have a wet cough/cold right now...so my experience is different....but sitting in a steamy shower helped her a ton. Also using a humidifier at night.

My lo fake coughs, we joke that, that is how he laughs, or he is covering up a toot.
But it's never been a concern because it's not progressive
