I believe that clothes should be disposable. They wouldn't have to be fabulous quality since you only wear them once, which means they could be cheap. It would eliminate laundry. And, since you were always wearing new clothes, you'd always be in fashion.
When I first joined the bump, I thought the abbreviation BF meant "butt f*ck". Obviously, that makes NO SENSE EVER, and I figured it out pretty quickly.... but I still read it as "butt f*ck" every time I see it and laugh a little to myself.
@majwv8 I think once O starts getting more vocal/physical you can make a better case as to why daycare is more beneficial than her care full time...does your daycare offer any special programs? (like sign language, Spanish, or dance classes for when they get older?) I'd let her milk up the time right now and then flip the switch when she gets older...

I know what it means, but I always read F/U like.. well F.U. Lol. So, last night when I saw BLT's F/U to those with high BP, I giggled.
I'm sick with a cold that O gave to me. He woke up yesterday stuffy and I woke up this morning with a stuffed nose and sore throat. I rarely get sick so this is new. He just spat up his first feeding all over me and I'm selfishly wanting to call my doctor before I call his pediatrician. Bad mommy
My H constantly buys different kinds of tea but then will not finish up the boxes. My pantry is full of tea. I can rival Teavana. My confession...H bought a new detox tea this week and has had the runs for the past 2 days and I have NO sympathy. Maybe he will re-think the next box of tea he buys.
I bought a box of chocolates from the Girl Scouts. They are gross and cost $6 for a tiny box. Sorry, never supporting you again! I'd much rather donate and get nothing.
LO has been fussy all week and I have got nothing done! He is fussing right now and I am on the bump, yep that's right I am neglecting my baby for points! He is safe, I promise, and its only been 5 minutes.
I keep falling asleep while nursing LO in the motn. He is still waking up anywhere from 3-6 times and the past week or so I have fallen asleep in the recliner while nursing him at least once at night. I do everything I can think of to try to stay awake and he is wedged in with the boppy and really can't go anywhere or get hurt, but I wake up feeling panicked and guilty every time.

Why would you buy anything but caramel delights cookies anyway???
My confession is that it takes someone planning to come by my house for a visit for me to really clean and finally put away the laundry that's been sitting in the basket in the living room for a week. I'm starting to notice a trend in LO's pics that most of them have a laundry basket in the background.
@Cricket81 I do the same thing! Especially trying to get him down initially for the night. In fact, MH and DD were reading books last night when I took DS in to nurse him to sleep. I came back out after almost an HOUR! My neck was all contorted and hurt like hell when I woke up, but there was DS peacefully sleeping with my boob in his mouth, even though I nearly died when I saw the time on the clock. Sometimes it's just so hard to keep my eyes open!
@Cricket81 - that was happening to me all the time so I started setting a timer on my phone. That way, even if I did fall asleep- it was only for like 10 minutes.
I still occasionally text while I drive. I know it's bad!
I did until DS1 became forward facing. Not only is he a narc, kids learn habits by watching their parents (even at this young of an age). They will drive how they see you drive...
I personally think its weird that guys are even on the bump. I've lurked over there, and its just strange what they talk about. I feel the bump is more of a woman with babies forum.

Great point. I need to kick this before mine sits facing forward!
Last time we were in Canada, several people we met thought we were Canadians. I was very happy about that since Canadians are so nice.
I might have to revisit this thought process after seeing more Rob Ford videos.
but he keeps apologizing for being an idiot! So at least he is polite about it.

Seriously, texting and driving is so dangerous. I was in a bad accident a few years ago because a 16 year old kid was texting and hit me going pretty fast. Luckily he and I both ended up okay (my vehicle was totaled) but it could have been so much worse. DH still texts and drives and it pisses me off so much especially when DD is in the car.

Mmm no. I would just not buy the chocolates again. I love me some Girl Scout Cookies!
Our lil' diva: late like her Momma: 40 weeks 5 days!
I confess that I am really enjoying sleeping in a bed by myself lately. My sleep is disrupted enough by LO without DH's snoring keeping me awake on top of that. I love cuddling with DH, but I'm very protective of my sleep time these days. I'm not really looking forward to sleeping in the same bed again unless he can do something about it. Perhaps this is why we rarely get it on.
Oh, and add me to the list of people who leave clean laundry sitting in the basket for days. I also have way too many pics of E in the same sleeper. people will think I don't dress her.
While I don't have my kids be matchy matchy I do make sure they don't clash. Like there won't be one in mainly red and the other in pink or navy and black... drives me crazy. And well I add myself to the color rule too.
I always match on accident...I'll get Ty dressed in stripes and then go to my closet and subconsciously always choose a coordinating outfit...
I've been begging DH for months to let me get K's ears pierced. We got into a huge fight about it last weekend and he finally said yes last Sunday. We were getting ready to go get them done and I chickened out.

Oh god, please don't think we're all like him!!!! :-S
1.) Sometimes if I get lucky enough to get a double nap from the boys and it's been too long between myself and the mister in the intimacy department, I take some time for "myself" if you know what I mean. Treat yo' self!
2.) I drove between the library and the YMCA (on the ill fated YMCA day) with Arlo unbuckled, because he was in the seat and I had blankets over him and he fell asleep and I totally forgot. Oops.
3.) This isn't me, but I feel partially responsible because I'm their parent too: DH forgot the kids at daycare and came home instead of to get them. We were 23 minutes late (past closing time) once he realized his mistake. The worst part is we leave the car at daycare since we both use the train to commute in so we had to have a neighbor drive us to the center for pick up. Amazingly two other parents were late so we weren't even the last ones. I still feel terrible!

Me too and I did this with DS1 too. I actually just fashioned this amazing pillow on the back of my rocker for my head and went with it. Then he gets to eat as long as he wants, I get sleep and I'm yet to drop a baby (and it went until 9 months with DS1!).
I love my career, but I want to SAH for a long as possible. I can't being myself to tell DH, because I know his family will think I'm lazy (his sisters are doctors, FCS).
My son wears baby legs. They're cute and functional. It's nice to not have to take pants off to do a diaper change. I don't think they're girly, but even if they were who gives a shit? He's a baby. And the whole "boys can't like this and girls have to like that" thing is annoying and played out anyway.
I am going to use my first pumping break at work today to take a nap. I really don't feel good. I think I'm getting sick. Yesterday I got off early, picked up LO and went home to take a nap because I had a headache. I woke up almost 2 hours later and felt even worse. Headache, body aches, freezing cold, sore throat. I hate being sick. I know I won't be able to get a nap in after work today since I have to catch up on everything I didn't do yesterday and get most of my weekend stuff done (we have several plans for this weekend).
I know I shouldn't skip the pumping but I need some rest.
And yes, this is a very lame FFFC. I might think of a better one later.

Did I miss something? My son wears them all the time. I think they're the cutest thing ever, on boys AND girls!

I can't live w/o babylegs. So damn convenient during diaper changes!!

I am a sucker for mints! Although uo time, I find the Carmel delights gross... (Coconut) I fail at laundry though too at least it's clean!
Re: FFFC
Damn I had so many that I thought of when I got up with a teething baby a million times last night...here's an easy one
I bought new underwear yesterday instead of doing laundry.
O to that end...I haven't done (my own) laundry in almost a month...
