You're doing a great job! It should keep getting better. If there is a really bad night, don't let it get to you. I'm so glad you are feeling better about it.

we had a great night! After falling back to sleep from his 9:30 wake up, he slept until 2:30! (this was most likely his wake up time because fifteen minutes earlier I jumped out of bed, freaking out that he was still asleep…and I checked on him "> )
I nursed him, put him back down and he instantly started crying. But i left the room, he was calm and quiet about five minutes later.
He did wake up around 4:30…apparently to poop. And he did his, now, classic lay on his side so it leaks out onto pj's and his sleep sack. Oh well. So we did the whole change routine and I was kind of glad that his sleep sack was dirty and we only have one…because then we got to snuggle in bed, he fell back to sleep at 5:30 and we just woke up at 8:15.
yay! that sounds wonderful! and i still love morning snuggles too. H needs his own space to sleep well for the majority of the night, but I love climbing back into bed with him for the last hour or two in the morning!
also, regarding what your SIL said before about him being wrapped around your finger? screw her. how horrible that your baby feels loved and comforted by being with you...i just don't get people.
