Underweight/ Pediasure

Does anyone have a LO drinking Pediasure?

DD had her appointment yesterday, and she fell off the growth curve for weight. :( She is just not interested in eating. I put food on her plate, and she'll take two bites and start playing with it. Or yell DONE.

It's frustrating. We have a weight check in January, when we'll discuss starting Pediasure. Anyone else have experience with this?

This is unrelated, but did your daughter take an afternoon nap yesterday after you shortened her morning one? Just wondering whether it worked :)

Yes, she did! She went to bed a little bit later. And then she woke up even earlier! I give up.  :((

Jeffrey is a very picky eater and in the lower percentile for weight. We use pediasure as a supplement. Not everyday but if he won't eat lunch or dinner I will give him that . We also put a packet of carnation instant breakfast in his morning and night bottles (half a packet in each bottle). Good luck!
Thank you. Maybe I will try the carnation too.

Maybe she was also off because of her vaccinations? Good luck :)

DS is picky so I do the supplement whenever he has a bad eating day. He's lower percent for weight about 10% but he's always been skinny! I say just start trying some now and see how it goes. Feeding has been one of the most stressful mommy things since ds was born!!!! Why couldn't my baby just be a normal eater?

We do exactly this, right down to the Instant Breakfast in the morning and night milk. She won't drink milk otherwise. Also, Enfamil keeps sending me rebate checks, so sometimes I buy the Enfagrow Toddler drink, which is basically the same as Pediasure. The pediatrician also told me I could use Boost.
