I'm desperately trying to find a baby boy name that is classic and simple but not super common or trendy. "Weston" is our top name (nickname "Wes") and so far the only one that both my husband and I like
But I've noticed the popularity has increased dramatically within the last couple years (via the Social Security name rankings). Is it currently a trendy name?
And while I'm posting.. does anyone else have any other boy name suggestions that are classic and simple yet not trendy/popular?
TIA!
Re: Is "Weston" trendy?
The bolded is a good indication that a name is trendy.
Weston is OK but neither classic or simple IMO.

I'm probably going in a completely wrong direction here, but I'm throwing out my hubby's name as a suggestion: Justin?
@joy2611- as you wish.

I like it. And I also like it better than Wesley...but maybe that is because I know a Wesley. It is on my short list.
I love Wyatt, but that is because it is my DS's name.

I've loved the name Weston for ages, so it doesn't feel trendy to me personally. But, I see how others could see it that way .I love the nn Wes, but Wesley doesn't seem as strong an name. Maybe Westley instead? If it was good enough for Princess Buttercup...
Other names we considered that were similar imo:
Spencer, Conrad
