Okay, after that post this morning, now I'm feeling guilty for hanging out here all the time, enjoying everyone else's posts, but never posting myself.  My DD is 8 months old and we've been CD with pockets and AIOs since she was 6 weeks.  It's gone well for the most part, after having to adjust the wash routine a bit for our HE FL washer.  I'm a mother/baby nurse and being around newborns all the time is making me want another one, RIGHT NOW.  Ideally, I'd like to wait to get pregnant until DD is at least 1 so it doesn't screw up my goal of BF until she's 1 at the very least.  I'm hoping I'm ambitious enough the second time around to CD from the very beginning, because there is seriously nothing cuter than newborn fluff.  And, so this isn't just me babbling on and on...I think I'm going to get a new CD or two for DD for Christmas.  Right now we use BG 4.0s, Freetimes, Elementals, Sunbaby diapers, and some etsy pockets.  They all seem to fit DD pretty well, but the 4.0s are our favorites.  I'd like to splurge try out something new, maybe a Simplex or RaR.  Any favorites that you'd recommend?  DD is in the 25th percentile for height, and around the 50th for weight, but she's got some chunky thighs.

ETA:  OMG, and the fact that I cannot fix my sig for the life of me is really bothering me

Welcome!  Glad you decided to come out of lurking!  My little guy has chunky thighs too.  We really like how Blueberries/Swaddlebees, Softbums, and AppleCheeks/AMP fit his thighs.

Thanks for the recommendations and warm welcome!  When I'm back on my laptop I'm going to keep working on my siggy, it's bothering me so bad!!  I have taken it all out, put new codes in, hit save like 865865765 times, annnnd nothing.  Lather, rinse, repeat.  Ugh.

Nope, I definitely wasn't!  That just goes to show you how long it's been since I've attempted to change it.  Thank you!  At least I've gotten to old ones out...now to just get the new ones in...

Ha ha I like de lurking too. so I'm just foing to state that we are on day two of cd now. And I love his huge looking fluff butt. I don't know if it is because he is just a lean little man but boy his tooshie looks huge! Maybe the cd is just too big yet. But we are doing good still!

I love it, I really do.  I didn't set out to do any sort of OB nursing, but after doing 2 different med/surg jobs and a dermatology office nurse job, I figured I'd give it a shot.  I know L&D is not my thing, but mother/baby is where it's at.  I'm training right now to work in the nursery with the sick babies too.  Our hospital can care for babies on oxygen, but if they need any sort of breathing support they get shipped to the children's hospital about an hour away.  I love the teaching aspect of postpartum nursing, and I am a big breastfeeding advocate, so helping new moms learn to BF is right up my alley too.  My area has a high rate of teen pregnancy and also drug abuse unfortunately, so there are some sad/unfortunate experiences, but overall I love it.  It's totally a career I could see myself in for the next 30 years

@emw9985 I don't know if this will help or not, but when I add a new signature, I create it, then drag and drop the image to the page @littlek linked to. I can't ever get the codes to work right, but doing it with the image seems to work.

That was how I finally got it to work!  Just goes to show how long it had been since I even tried to change it, I hadn't realized that was an option.
