S13 Superlatives

I feel like we need S13 superlatives. A13 has them and someone in their group must have spent some time making badges because I've seen them in their siggies, stuff like 'Most likely to be snarky' and 'Best Bumpie' and 'Cutest couple' and whatnot... like those silly awards you'd get in high school yearbooks? I think it'd be fun to nominate people and vote.

We could just use this thread to throw ideas and. mountains out there. And if you see an idea and have a nomination, quote the person and add who you think should get it? The. Later we compile the lists and vote?

For example. Ideas off the top of my head:

They JUST did this on the CD boards, but did it a different way (that I kinda liked, but didn't participate in).  Whoever wants a badge starts their own post, and then people comment on it with what they think that person's badge should be.  Then the comment with the most "likes" gets it.  Or the person can just choose which they like best.

But who's going to make the badges?

Who has photoshop? I'm asking for it for Christmas but I'm assuming everyone would want their badges now and not in a month.

The CD badges were really easy but there were only a few of us that wanted one.  I feel like this board has a bunch more regulars and all the separate posts would get crazy.

i think youre right about the crazy number of threads. any other ideas?

Eh, it's worth the work I think! We just have to figure out how to make badges! I don't mind organizing it, I just am not sure how to make badges.

Cute idea....in high school I was voted Most Likely to be Fixing My Makeup....I can't say that's happening quite as often with a 2 month old  :P

Obviously I can't speak to BMBs I'm not on, but I've never seen these go down without drama and hurt feelings.  As long as they are silly things its NBD, but voting on our kids looks is asking for a pile of butthurt.

I post over on August, and one of our ladies made those awesome badges. She's quite talented. We had nominations, and then the 3 ladies who the most nominations per category were then voted on. 

It was a pretty simple process, and it was quite fun! It would be fun for September

I feel like this is me too especially after having Sophie I have been more of a lurker but I understand that and I won't be totally butt hurt [just a little maybe ] if I don't get nominated for stuff

Left out of what? Being nominated or getting voted for something? Not everyone can be a winner (get nominated, etc) and seriously, if someone is going to take something like this to heart and be upset about it then I will seriously question them.

If you dont want to be (feel) left out, participate more. I get its hard to be on here all of the time (says the woman with 4u4) but popping in once in awhile, a quick catch up with everyone is doable.

I definitely wouldn't feel left out, it would encourage me to try to be more involved. I've been here since the beginning but still feel like a newb. Maybe it's just because I'm a FTM.

I agree. I read everything, I just dont post often so I wouldn't feel bad. I love that the regs keep it interesting.
