Hey! Just wondering how your son was doing? I know you said you were hoping to make in into Nov. before he needed heart surgery so...it's November!

Hi! He seems to be doing really well! We had a cardiology appointment last week, but he was flipping out so they couldn't get a good echo, listen, or any blood pressure reading at all. The cardiologist felt confident in waiting another 3 months to reassess him. But, he has had a reappearance of bood and mucus in his stools over the past month and a half, so the GI will be doing an endoscopy and sigmoidoscopy on him sometime soon. Since he will be under general anesthesia for that, the cardiologist will do a sedated echo on him then and we should have more information. He has been growing well and is running around like a happy toddler, so hopefully things will be good and we can continue to put off any interventions.

I'm glad to hear his heart seems to be doing well. I'm sorry about the GI stuff. It's so frustrating. let us know how the echo goes.
