Obscure nesting desires.

I feel the urge, but for the weirdest chores. Something I should do: unload the dishwasher and reload.
What I want to do: repaint the risers on my stairs and the surrounding walls.
My compromise chore was vacuuming.

I've had an urge to reorganize the closet lately, and clean out our closets. We have too much stuff!.

I just make lists of all of the things I need to do and then don't do them.  I'm really hoping this whole nesting thing is going to kick in soon!

I was itching to get furniture moved (swapped from guest room & DD's big girl room) and told DH I was going to do it one day. Death stares. Apparently moving furniture solo while pregnant is frowned upon?

Meanwhile my bathroom hasn't been cleaned in over 2 weeks.

Closets, closets, closets. Its not really obscure but all I want to do is clean out closets. Finding the time to do so is the issue.

I am with you. I really needed to wash the floors today, clean the kitchen etc. What did I do? Wrapped presents so I could clean out our closets and fidgeted with laundry. I am nesting like crazy but it isn't in the way that shows improvement in the house!

I feel the same! What finally got me to clean floors and dust was having company last weekend for my husband's birthday. Although I did get distracted and had to stop myself from organizing cupboards in the laundry room and get the real cleaning done!
