On Disappointment

If someone tells you something cool is supposed to happen,
But then it doesn't happen,
Do you feel let down?
Do you feel more upset than you would if it had never been scheduled in the first place?

Of course it's worse to know if something cool is supposed to happen, but then it doesn't.

I am a prepare for the worst kind of girl though, so my dissapointments are kept to a minimum.

I hate it when Amazon teases!

Especially when it's diapers.

I just posted about how this happened to my husband on Friday. Was a mean joke. So yes we were upset

I totally do this too. I didn't realize everyone doesn't.

I am disappointed by this question. This thread has so much promise in the title, but it was a real let down when I opened it.

Well, that was something to be legit upset about. I was riffing more on life's tiny disappointments, like realizing your favorite show you were looking forward to watching all day is either a re-run or pre-empted by sports.
