I missed Kellen's call out yesterday so I will just AW for y'all right here
Kellen is up to no good these days and has entered the climbing stage that so many of us are enjoying right now. He is still the same goof he has always been, but instead of the OMG face, he now just looks at things and goes "wowwwww!" Its not quite as funny and I miss his OMG face and accompanying gasp of excitement, but its still adorable!
Feel free to ask anything!
This was at about 13 months:
This was at the park about a month ago (15 months):
Just the other day getting into trouble. He went under the couch to get here and mess with the cords. I had to very carefully move the entire couch in order to stop him from imminent electrocution. LOL. He knew I couldn't get to him either because he usually listens when I tell him not to grab cords, but not this time!
Above ^ was just a few weeks ago at the park with his mouth full of banana.
Below was when he was about 13 or 14 months, but I love this pic
Re: AW: Missed our call out!
And to answer a few questions from my original call out:
He is saying several words, but seems to think he is saying things correctly all the time when he is not even close. His most regularly used words are dada, Za-ee (Zaley), Ay-ee (Avery), thank you, please, that, up, on, and off.
His favorite food is currently anything mildly spicy it seems. He loves chili, jambalya, and tacos!
He broke the Roomba!! LOL. We will probably get another, since we loved that thing, but he pulled a Lenny on Mr. Roomba and loved it to death
And his favorite foods are chilli, jambalaya, and taco meat!
Hmmmm... I think the most shocking thing lately has been how much he understands. He doesn't talk much, but he just knows things that I never even really tried teaching him. Example: The other day we were walking at the mall and in a hurry. He wasn't in his stroller and I was holding his hand and he was walking sooooo slow. So I thought now would be a good time to teach him to run and just said "Kellen, can you run?" and he took off! I had no clue he even knew what that meant!
He seems to surprise me a lot with the things he understands and does all on his own these days.

He cracks me up A LOT! A few off the top of my head are when he knows he isn't supposed to be doing something (like playing in the dog food) he will sneak over there and reach out like he is going to touch it and give me this sly little grin like "look what I'm about to do!!!" and wait for me to say no. Then, once I say no, he shakes his head and runs to me and I praise him for listening. And repeat. Over and over and over. I think he likes the praise, so that's why he does it.
Also, he does this squinty face a lot when he is confused. Like if he hears a weird noise or something. It is amazing. He furrows his eyebrows and squints and almost looks like he is mad or just plain baffled. Here's a pic of when MH was nailing in the wall upstairs while we were downstairs eating:
Definitely MH. He is exactly like him in every way possible. SUPER outgoing, charming, and goofy and often short-tempered and impatient!
However, my mom often says that he acts just like I did as a toddler in that he is constantly on the go and has to be moving. It is a chore keeping him entertained throughout the day!
