My LO is super long & I think by Xmas she will outgrow her Carters bunting (size 9 mos). The biggest size I've seen in buntings is 9 mos - does anyone have one that is 18 or 24 mos size? Otherwise I'm just going to get her a jacket, but I'd really prefer a bunting for the frigid winter here... thx!
Well I had to look up what bunting was lol but I think I know what your talking about now. Don't know about the sizing but I'm wondering if you could use something like the bundle me instead?

I know, you don't hear the word 'bunting' often aka fuzzy snowsuit
I'm not really comfortable using a bundle me - I have a similar cover that just goes over the car seat. (The safety issues regarding any of these is a post in itself & I'd rather not get into it
I did google bunting size 24 mos & found a few, just wondering if anyone has actually bought one in a bigger size & if it was big enough (different brands run big/small).
Are you crafty? If you are you can sew one. They are really easy...only 3 pieces and a zipper. I made a couple and it took about an hour. And you can make them any size you need.
Columbia makes one that is suitable for use in a carseat. It is thin but warm and comes in larger sizes. I bought one in 12 month for my chunker and he's got plenty of room.
Old navy has fleece suits up tot 24 months - but they along w/ any of the other shouldn't be used in car seats.
A thin fleece jacket or bunting is fine in a car seat...just nothing fluffy or puffy. DS1 had an Old Navy fleece jacket once and it was pretty thin and totally car seat safe.
Thanks for all the tips. Yes, the one we have now is not puffy - it's more just like a fleece. I'm not looking for a full snowsuit type bunting - just a snuggly fleece one.
