I didn't bold it. Yes I have bad self images about myself but that's y before I got pregnant I was all about being healthy. I didn't mean anything by calling myself a fatty at 140 lbs. I've gained a lot of weight in the past an I don't carry it well. I know that the weight I gain now I'm suppose to gain to make sure my baby is healthy. @AKPuffin

That number should probably be higher but I've really cut back on alcohol lately so I'm not getting as many empty calories as I was previously. Also, the smoking is helping to keep my weight down.
I've heard if you REALLY want to drop the weight, meth is the way to go. Because really, who needs teeth??

  • why are people so defensive about this post? if you dont want to discuss your weight gain, you can just not respond to the thread. really, nobody is holding a gun to your head. and more importantly, it was abundantly clear from the title of this post what its about---so why did you click? just to piss and moan?

to answer OP, I am 22w3d and have gained 14 pounds. I seem more worried than my doctor..I started out very overweight and she told me to gain between 20 and 25...a little anxious that i have already passed the half way mark and not even at the "gain a pound a week" point yet. But hopefully I can ease up on the chocolate and slow things down.
  • You know who hasn't gained any weight? Larry.

  • This is the first time I got through a weight gain post and that really just made me sad about how much weight I've gain so far. I'm 23w1d and I gain 20lb, and I think I'm just going to go away and cry and eat a homemade chocolat chip cookie.

*Must remember I'm pregnant and I should not to open these weight posts again!!*
  • @miliska that makes ME sad! I hate that about these posts.... that they make people feel bad. 20lbs is not crazy for this point! Everyone is different, and as long as you're eating (mostly) healthy and trying to get some activity in, please try not to worry. <3

Yeah... I fully understand everybody's different, but I can't help to ''compare''. I should know better, since I know I eat healthy and I know I will lose the weight after the baby is born, but old weight struggles are coming back to my mind when I see posts like this. I'm definitvely not opening weight posts again! lol
  • I wish mods had a way to lock threads. OP was either a drive by or a troll that had no desire to share her weight or actually discuss anything. It's a dead thread, except to the people who only read the OP and reply.

    Take away our fun :(
Hey I've been on here enough I think you know I'm always down for fun! I just think this thread has lost its fun potential. I need someone else to ask to guess the sex of their baby, or if Riylyeeeeeee is an appropriate name for their daughter.
