Finally a respectful stranger!

After Zumba tonight, this nice middle aged lady came up to me at the gym and said, " I love your hair. The color is so pretty." Then she smiled and walked away. No comment about my huge baby belly or my modified attempt at trying to "shake it" to keep up with the other women. It was so refreshing! Just thought I'd share a positive story since so many of our interactions with complete strangers are so rude and uncalled for.

I haven't had any rude stranger comments... but last weekend while DH & I were standing in a restaurant waiting for a table to become free, out of everyone that just sat down on the few seats they had, the ONLY person who offered me a seat was an older woman who was visibly limping and obviously needed it more than I did, even though I very clearly had a bump in the outfit I was wearing. (I let her take the seat, in case you were all wondering, but I found it telling that out of six or so healthy male & female adults the only one to even offer was her).
