Was wondering if there was a place or program in Colorado / denver metro area that I could donate the baby toiletries and wipes that we received at our shower? We are an all organic household, but no one looked at our registry and we ended up with an ABUNDANCE of products that we won't be using, and I don't want to waste them! Is there any place that anyone knows of that we could bring them to go to families who are in need ? we have shampoos, lotions, wipes, diapers, baby bath etc. I cant seem to find the right search term online to bring any programs up , so hopefully someone can help us out! thank you!!
I think any homeless shelter would take them. I used to work at the Family Crisis Center where children who were abused and neglected were sheltered until a foster home was found. We always took donations, but I don't think they have babies there anymore; however the Department of Human Services is right there, so they may be able to direct you. They are located at 10th and Federal.
