Good Morning 6+ers!
It's that time again...Ok, it was actually "that time" last Friday but since I was on vacation, it's a little late this time. This is our bi-weekly check in, condensed version. Feel free to let us know how life is; you can b!tch, you can moan, you can brag, you can cry, whatever you want. Enjoy!

As for me, not too much is going on. Still waiting to hear about an appointment with the specialist and getting impatient. If I don't hear from them this week, I'll be calling them on Monday. I'm in a funk too, with some recent pregnancy announcements and feeling like we are the only ones who don't have kids in our circle of friends. Overall, feeling lonely and angry. I hate that this is where we are, this is not how I envisioned our life going.
In non-TTCAL news, DH and I are off to visit RosiePeare and her DH this weekend and I am beyond excited. Plus, we just booked our anniversary weekend so I have some things to look forward to. I'm trying to remind myself of all the good things going on and to be thankful for that, but some days it's just plain hard.

Nothing new really with me. DH and I went to a support group a few weeks ago. I guess it was nice to be around women that understand but they were all active in medicated cycles and such. I'm not doing anything but waiting and practicing faith so it was kind of frustrating. I did start acupuncture and herbal therapy recently so it's kind of cool to be doing that.
4 Losses (2003, 2008, Apr 2012, & Oct 2012)
All RPL and IF testing with multiple REs = normal
5 IUIs = BFN

Life sucks this week. I'm still trying to deal with everything that went down this weekend. Sadly, I'm in the spot where I'm telling myself "You idiot! You actually thought IVF would work for you? You actually thought you could become a mom?!" I know it's irrational and not right and I'm trying to fight it, but that's where I am.
NTTCAL related: I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. I haven't been home in months so it will be nice to see family... and get a small vacation from work!
@Sammer818 I'm glad things are moving along. And that's great her insurance is paying for some of it!
@Jenn0021 I know how you feel with the pregnancy announcements. My BFF just got pregnant with her second because she thought it would be fun to get pregnant together... ya, that didn't quite work out for me. And she's due 1 day before my first EDD. I'm sorry you're dealing with something similar, it sucks
@rachaelhudson Very cool about the acupuncture. Let us know how it goes!

@rachaelhudson - Acupuncture has always interested me and it's something many women have done on this board. What do you think? Has it given you other benefits? Reduced stress?
@jbasore1123 - I am so sorry about the IVF cycle. My heart was really breaking for you. The universe is so unfair.
@jap618 - I hope you had a nice dinner with your husband. I know you and I have talked offline, but I hope Dec 4th comes as fast as possible!
@uneek1323 - Urg! I want to kick that lab in the butt! Seriously, how can a lab screw this stuff up so bad? Do you think you'll be able to get any kind of discount from your physician for having to go in multiple times for blood draws? What type of book are you writing? You look like you've made amazing progress!
As for me...
I've finished up all my RE testing. Lots o' bloodwork and an SHG & HSG. My the two ultrasounds showed my uterus looks good and tubes are open. I did get my day 3 bloodwork sent to my phone and my FSH level was in a good range, but after doing some research it looks like it's a bit high for my age. I don't know if that means anything yet, but could explain why nothing has happened in almost a year. The cost for my tests has been lower than expected so I'm happy I decided to drive a bit farther instead of going to one of my fancy hospitals near my house. I honestly think they charge more for the name. I've got my follow up next week, so I'll know more then.

I'll be going to Germany in January! I'm tagging along with my husband, who is going for work training. I'm happy I have something to look forward to in the next few months. My loss was right around Xmas last year so it's going to be tough facing another holiday without a baby.

@rachaelhudson - (((Hugs))) this is the closest I think I will ever get to "going" to a support group. I'm glad you and YH went but I'm sorry it was not a better fit. A friend of mine does acupuncture and has recommended that I try it.
@jbasore1123 - ((((hugs)))) I'm so sorry. I'm glad you are able to go home for Thanksgiving.

@uneek1323 -- (((((hugs))))) I am so frustrated for you. Did you end up getting your last set of labs done or are you going to wait until next cycle? Are you going to continue working on this book once December hits?
My update:
On the TTCAL front, back to CD2. I ended up having a really weird cycle that may have been related to the DHEA. I reduced down the dosage. I know and have read too many things about it helping with follicle counts to not give this a shot. I'm probably going to be working an insane amount of hours (like from 6am to 9pm) during FW so I'm already starting to worry about timing. I just need to remind myself that we can only control what we can control.
Non-TTCAL - I got an email back about a Document Review that is starting around the second week of December and they wanted to make sure that I was still available!!!! Yay!!! I'm not sure of the duration - I've seen some that are 6 months to a year - but it would be legal work and is a good way for me to wedge my foot in a door at a law firm here. I'm really, really hoping this does not fall through and that I get another email back quickly letting me know a definite start date.

@jenkellen - I'm glad your testing came back normal! I know it's frustrating not to have an answer, but it's good that everything looks good. Germany is so cool, where are you going?
@buggir72 - ((hugs)) on CD2. As far as timing, all you need is a quickie so even if schedules are rough, hopefully you can get that in! I know it might be difficult with DH, but hopefully you guys will find a way to make it work. That opportunity sounds great, FX it works out!
My update:
Expecting AF in the next few days. Frustrating since this is just a wasted egg, and the next will be too. *sigh* But hopefully we should make the following 2 cycles. Just feeling really frustrated about the fact that we've been trying so long, and now we can't even try these few cycles. But mostly I'm stressed out about school stuff now, so I'm just trying to stay sane. I'm having a rough few weeks, to be honest, with all my school stress, and being away from DH so he can't talk me down when I need it.
