Many thought and prayers needed, please!
Im having surgery today to remove a mass from my kidney as well as part of my kidney. Im feeling really uneasy about it and trying to get all the snuggles in with my little man that I can since I wont be able to pick him up for 4 weeks...thats definitely the hardest part of all of this.
Once this mass is out, it will be biopsied and we will go from there.

Updates: my surgery was Monday and all went as well as expected. I am in a lot of pain but have a button I can push for pain meds. I've had to walk...and that sucks. I am still on a clear liquids only diet and won't be able to go home until I pass gas. That has yet to happen. The pathology report came back and the mass was cancer. My doctor feels confident he got it all but I will have to be tested for many years to come. MH has brought B up to see me and it breaks my heart when he reaches out for me and I can't hold him. I've been running a low grade fever so B will not be visiting me anymore. I'm just really miserable. I do appreciate all of your kind thoughts and prayers. Thank you so much.
