Not sure - if it were up to DH we would be ttc in January but I am nervous about being pregnant when we take a 10 day trip overseas in May (practically in transit for 24 hours each way)... may hold off one more year but I don't want to spend another Christmas without a little one!

Not in January, but in 2014!!!!  Closer to the end of April/May.  Excited, but nervous! DS is 3 and I had bad PPD the first time around.  Worried about starting over and the PPD coming back!  I can't decided if I'm more excited or nervous to TTC.

Stupid post-BC cycles. I'm CD1 and starting temping so I should be able to get a picture of what's up this month, but we'll see. In the meantime, I'm just over here driving myself insane.

Girl, you and me both. After DH gave the green light for TTC next cycle, I am majorly obsessed! :-S

It hasn't been easy, but I honestly think it was easier when I knew it was a long way off! Now that it's so close, it's all I think about. We also moved like three times in the last year and a half, so I haven't had much time to think about it. Now that we are in a more permanent home, I'm obsessed. (And that's probably why DH finally said yes)... Anyway, I hope you get your green light soon! Hang in there!

@kmstev03 Thank you!!! That is encouraging. Like I have said in previous posts before it kind of depends on finances as well. I actually spoke with my hubby last night. He asked me why I keep thinking about it and bringing it up (which I try not to) and said there is too much up the in air right now (he just started a business, we need a newer/more reliable vehicle, etc...) I said I know but I can't help that I'm thinking about it everyday and then blamed it on my hormones ">

Just came across this post...

Hubby and I are NTNP beginning mid-December (that's when my next fertility window should come around). I'm tracking AF and the expected timeframe for the luteal phase but that's about it. No temping, tracking mucus, etc until May 2014 if we don't get lucky before then.  Look forward to following you ladies.

I'm tracking temps and CM with occasional OPK for a couple months, then really trying starting Feb probably. I actually want to do the Shettles method (yeah I know I've read the posts.... ) so I want to try and get an accurate ovulation pattern (if possible).

I am on my last pack on BC, will be trying to conceive the first of the year. Per the Chinese gender chart jan & feb are my baby girl months which we are shooting for but as long as the baby is healthy and I remain healthy we are happy.

It might be a few cycles before your body gets back to normal after BC... just keep that in mind if you start charting/temping etc.
